Not too many people have patience for laminate construction like that, but it turned out quite well. I bet with it being fairly solid, that piece has a bit of heft to it too.

I admire the grind, but that's a lot of work.

When I first saw the final product I thought it had to be coated with something more special like epoxy, but I'm tempted to try making one now that I saw how basic materials you used! Maybe in the near future :)

This is so cool. I never knew you could use sandpaper on cardboard until now. When I read the tile of your video and saw the shiny skull in the thumbnail, I wondered "how could he make cardboard so shiny?" Now I know.
