How to change a Kirby belt

Helpful video.. I love my Kirby Heritage

thanks for showing how to remove the roller ..... but it came out in 2 parts as the other part stayed in the casting seems hair and rug got the best of the roller making it hard to remove and not to mention there are BEARINGS ON EACH END OF THE ROLLER MAYBE SHOULD OF MENTIONED THESE COULD BE BAD AS MINE CAME OUT IN PIECES ............I GLAD YOU DONT WORK ON PLANES

Thank you sir We have had this beautiful Kirby for a couple of years and not used it cause the belt was on wrong or broken and it wasn;t working right and it was hard to push for my wife. now th belts is on right it floats Ha! Thanks so much

Thanks for the help. My belt was positioned so the hook couldn't catch the belt. Once I moved it over to the right position, the belt went on easily.

I bought a refurbished Kirby online without the benefit of a demo. This video helped so much in understanding how to engage the belt for upright vacuuming.

Hey I appreciate your helpful explanation of how these work. I thought that the green arrows had to be lined up somehow before it went back on, and after watching multiple videos without success yours explained it for me and I was hella relieved. I wish I would've heard that last part about the green light but the sound of the motor blocked out your voice.
