I hope to see 6 events each competition. GL could easily add a fast loading race with four implements. It doesn't have to take hours.

Love giants live … watch the streams mostly but was lucky enough to go to the Vegas show. Great time. Things that could improve… the viewing for the deadlift world championships… Neil and Robert Oberst ( mostly oberst….) blocked my view for much of it… luckily Neil picked up this and moved … don’t know if it was a one off or if it happens at a lot of the max events. Luckily still got to see some big deadlifts without my view blocked! ( Treys raw 470 kg pull) The other thing and I don’t know if this can be helped is the lights facing the audiences for some events. . It’s really bright and blinding. Made it hard to watch plus got a headache by the end of it… I understand though it’s for optimal lighting for athletes and livestream. Other than those I loved the show and hope giants live comes to the USA more !

The Giants Live shows this year were very good indeed, even if the Vegas show had a bit of teething problems on the technical side but that's easily forgiven since it's the first time there.

For me there was one pretty major disappointment though: no World Strongest Nation show! I can imagine why that was however as it'd leave out several very high profile strength athletes, so perhaps a World Strongest Continent instead?

As always great comments stats ect. I agree the giants live shows is the best for a 1 days show, was there on Saturday and loved every second, Mr pickup keeping us entertained and pa saying mich was a alien 👽. The crowd totally made the night for the athletes especially when it's was get the last rep ect. When luke stoltman came out it was on another level of noise.

What about a single hand deadlift medley, alternate right and left (or vice versa) but the athletes choose the set up. No straps?

Hey GL, can we please aim for no more than 2 of the same type of deadlift next year? I loved the BSM setup with the 2 weight choices. Liz and Loz also made great suggestions with a silver dollar deadlift amongst others!

Trey has from now unil the Arnold to peak. There's a set of events where he could be a major threat to Mitch and Thor (and Tom). His deadlift is looking awesome (and no suits at the Arnold helps him). He's a great presser. He'll lift whatever stone they put in front of him. If there's no Timber Carry (which last happened in 2019), he could conceivably hang with anyone.

Britain's and Europe's should be interesting next year - shows Mitch can't win 😂 what an amazing year he's had. Hoping to see some more fantastic performances from him.and othwr athletes again next year 💪

If it were Tom Stoltman or Hafthor Bjornsson having a year of total domination like the super Canadian Mitchell Hooper, I'm pretty sure Auntie Liz wouldn’t say anything about kicking their asses. It's a tough pill to swallow when a Canadian is reigning supreme at the top of the strongman world. Deal with it.

Geoff deserves a tribute show. He was one of my idols growning up in the 80's. A truly wonderful human being. Rest in peace Big man ♥

I was thinking yesterday what about putting on a show, a competition, 10 athletes each decide one event, their choice. And the audience will know who created which of the 10 events. I think for Mitch he would chose a speed event :) Love the facts and stats Liz & Loz

That's great the prize money is increasing! Rogue Invitational should start paying Strongman more than Crossfit... I feel that that the strongman show is far more entertaining than watching normal-ish people workout

With only one guy winning every competition, I'm starting to lose interest in the sport.

Really wouldn’t be surprised if Mitch holds the joint record for giants wins by the end of next year with Tom and Thor likely not doing any of them. Of course there’s other guys that can win but Mitch is making it difficult for anyone at the moment

I would like 6 events with a longer gap in the middle to allow athletes to recover and spectators to get food etc. Start an hour earlier.

I wonder why Lucas Hatton was not invited for any Giants Live this year... Any idea why? Hopefully we will see more of him next year after his performance at SMOE and his America's Strongest Man win....

No its not even near Giants Live's best year because they cant bring in the best athletes rn. When the #2 in the world and soon to be #1 doesn't attend the events at all, that is a far cry from the late teens when they had battles of Thor, Eddie, Shaw, Big Z and etc. Athletes make the shows not the promoters.

So who is actually going to Rogue? It still seems like a crime that Mateusz wasn't invited. He always puts up a good fight against the top guys. I don't know why no one is reaching out to Rogue about this.

I am actually really curious about your coach role with Mitchell Hooper. The guy seems to be so knowledgeable about body mechanics and other stuff I wonder how this person needs a coach? It's a genuine question. Plus are you also living in Canada? Do you actually train him daily? Sorry for my ignorance I am genuinely curious. No hate at all, just curiosity.

Britain's when Bishop did that extra deadlift rep was crazy! Tom was in such good shape as well, hope he's getting back towards that now (or even WSMeque!).

for myself, I personally preffered it when Giants live was slightly slower and ran most of the day back in headingley. I really did like it having 6 events and would sacrifice an extra hour or two for it.

Hopper's biggest strength, is his coach.
