ОтветитьOff caffeine for close to a year now. But whenever I go low or zero carb, I get terrible insomnia (like when I was on caffeine). Could I have stored caffeine in my body that gets released when I eat in a way that allows me to lose fat?
ОтветитьI quit coffee years ago because ik always get headache after a while when i drink just one cup a day. I tried with half a cup a day. But i like coffee and i always after a while ended up finishing the cup. If i then continue at some time i started to get headache. If it stopped i also started after 1 day or 1,5 day to get headache. The headache takes always around 12 hours to 24 hours. So i quite. But i loved the taste of coffee.
I used to smoke sometimes. Kind of same story with smoking.
Although i found out stopping with caffeine made stopping with smoking do much easier.
I think im highly addictive. I feel so much better not have it.
I do carnivore/keto for a while. I notice that carbs /sugars have the same kind effect, eating a few thinking it is possible results in eating more of it later. Eg being somewhere for work, they arranged lunch, i think ok lets go along. In the evening i think ok i already have cheated, i can cheat some more. And getting back takes a few days to a week of struggle / fighting against the urge. When im back on the carnivore/keto again i feel rest in my system. Lot of things are for me a sliding scale. Maybe partially because i sleep often very bad. Which seems to be slowly changing. (Focus on Hpa axis supporting supplements + experimenting omad + mild activity)

ОтветитьI will never quit coffee. But I have gone down from 12 cups a day to 3-4 12 oz mugs. I might get that down to 2😅
ОтветитьI actually started carnivore the day after Easter 2025. I have had issues with food all my life, too much sugar and carbs, binge eating or not eating enough. I decide to do carnivore before Easter, but oddly enough woke up on Easter with my first ever episode of gout in my right hand. I don’t drink alcohol. I started carnivore anyway because I have seen where carnivore has cured gout. Today is day six and the gout is finally almost gone along with the anxiety and depression I’ve have had my whole life! It is definitely hard to eat enough,but it’s getting easier everyday.

ОтветитьMY LEPTIN WAS 54. COULDNT LOSE AN OUNCE. SO DISCOURAGED. STOPPED ALL CARBS FROM VEGETABLES, FASTED, ATE MEAT, FASTED, ATE MEAT. LOST 10 LBS IN A WEEK. FOUND THIS VIDEO 2 YEARS TO LATE.
ОтветитьI still drink one cup of decaf every couple of days with heavy whipping cream. I started carnivore 4/8, and I have already dopped 10 pounds, my blood sugars are tremendously lower. It makes me feel GREAT again!

ОтветитьI have a question: i have started my 3rd time round carnivore journey with having a butter day. I felt that earing exclusively fat for a fay made me teally thirsty. Is that a thing? Is that maybe a liver detox sign? Or not enough bile? I did drink milky coffee and water.

ОтветитьBeen Carnivore for 16 days and I have Fibro, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, endometriosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, IBS, gout in my toe, etc . They had me on so many meds and I stopped taking them all. Recently I was diagnosed with a 3.5 aneurysm in my stomach. Since starting the Carnivore lifestyle I stop taking blood pressure medicine when I started the Carnivore lifestyle. I was 145 lbs when I started and I weigh 122 now. I have been feeling pretty good , blood pressure much better, but I seem to be getting dizzy and light headed lately , anyone? I have coffee in am with 3 tablespoons of butter then later I have a steak or eggs and or cheese. I was never a big eater and always hated eating fat. But I actually liking the taste of ribeye fat. I take vitamin B12 and D3 due to weight loss surgery and them always being low. I want to continue but don't know if I can. Any suggestions? I don't do Doctors , do not trust most. PLEASE HELP!

So first all I will cut out cheese even though I don’t have it every meal I do still have it. I have to stop comparing myself to everyone else. I have been on some kinda diet all my life so it might take a while.

Ooooooh gosh my downfall is my job -- when I'm at work I just cant bring enough of the right foods. And wow carbs are addictive! If I cheat with just one slice of bread, just one cookie, it's a death-struggle to get back on track!
ОтветитьI gave up coffee for 382 days. I didn't feel any different and didn't get any withdrawals from this. I went back to coffee because I like the taste and smell and part of the ritual as you mentioned. I didn't notice any type of extra energy from the first cup of coffee on day 383. It's the only non-carnivore thing I've done in 682 days.

Ответитьcoffee is a very powerful drug and highly addictive. I've been on and off of it many many many times in my life. I always feel way better in every way when I am off. And I've gotten back on so many times. I hate it. I hate the addiction. I hate needing it. I'm off it again for my 11th day today. It's been really difficult, useless for the first couple of days, still lagging and depressed 11 days in. Really strong addictive drug. Don't want to every go back.
ОтветитьInteresting about coffee. I have never felt that coffee gives me a big rush. I only take two cups with a bit of heavy whipping cream. I do know it helps me with going to the bathroom. I drink it just to give me something other that water to drink. And I like the drinking something warm.

ОтветитьI honestly do like vegetables. Not all of them, but i do enjoy cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, lemon cucumbers, pickles, tomatoes, onion, garlic, chili peppers, carrots, sweet potatoes.
I just started carnivore today, but i had an avocado and some bread earlier in the day, as well as coffee. We'll see how it goes. I hope i dont lose weight cuz i have a hard time keeping it as is. I finally hit 130 lbs a couple of months ago and i want to gain more. 150 lbs is a nice, normal size man number that I'd like to hit one day.
I am 10 days in on carnivore but my lower back and legs ache so much. I don’t know what to do. I’ve tried increasing water, electrolytes, I just don’t know what to do. I’m just miserable.
