I just got out of an intense raid and I think I'm traumatized lol Fought 3 PMCs, I Killed 2 and the third one and we messed eachother up pretty badly. We went our seperate ways after that. Tarkov is beautiful and depressing all at the same time.

No one ever escapes Tarkov. It is the nightmare that envelopes our soul, drawing us back for just one last raid. We never get outside it's grasp and our heart seeks it's cruel embrace. May we never find peace.

I miss my first few hours on Tarkov. I had no idea how the maps were laid out, no idea what weapons/mods were good, and, most importantly, I was completely dumbfounded by the sheer beauty of Tarkov's lore and scenery.

Now, I have a vivid map in my head of every location. I skip through quest dialogue, completing the objectives without ever checking the assignment. I only run the same, utilitarian loadout from mid to late wipe. Scavs don't scare me anymore; I don't see them as the desperate, ex-civilian the lore wants me to see them as, but rather as simple AI intended to cause a hurdle in my path and waste my ammunition.

The magic isn't gone, and I don't think it will be for a long time, but it is fading. Videos like this remind me of how I felt during my first few matches, and I can't thank you enough for reviving this overwhelming nostalgia.
