I can confirm how loyal a Chihuahua can be. My uncle had a female Chihuahua who lived to be 18, and she died on his arms after climbing to his bed two years ago, the family's dog :|

They are only terrors when they have been abused. People make them angry on purpose. That's not fun, or funny to the dog.

I've been brought to tears. After 15 inseparable years my chihuahua passed half a year ago and I'm still not even close to moving passed grieving. From day 1 to his final month he was as energetic as ever. He was territorial of his toys, but beyond that he was the most loving, calm, and playful dog I had ever met. His menacing side only really came through in his intelligence because after a while he became what I called my spoiled prince, learning how to disrupt my time to get what he wants. Unplugging cords, pulling off blankets, when programs crash nowadays that normally never did can't tell you for certain it's not him haunting for attention. I pet the air just in case. He truly will always be my forever puppy

If you have one, please I beg of you, take care of their joints. There's supplements out there to keep them strong cause what took him out was losing control of his legs and while we did our best to mitigate it, likely unbearable pain.

Love them, but can be nasty in the wrong hands like any other breeds.

My Chihuahua dances on his back legs, standing fully erect and intimidates larger dogs, including pitbulls! He looks like a Velociraptor when he does that.

My chihuahua was 11lbs and had long legs; he looked like a baby deer. He was the biggest sweetheart. He was friendly and loved kids. Even in his medical chart it said “nice chihuahua” so they were reminded they didn’t have to muzzle him to trim his nails. So they get a bad rap. Some can be so sweet and Rocko was a good boy!

My little bubba climbs into bed for a snuggle every morning at well before 6am 😅 even after my divorce and her mummy isn’t around any more I know Munky still loves her daddy 🥰
