2 months shy of 32 with 2 kids under 7, I have some college credits but I haven’t gone back since I was 24. It’s so comforting to know so many others my age have decided to go back. I will be taking the first steps this week ❤

I’m 24 and technically wasted 4 years in college because all my focus was put into work hours and I don’t really know how to manage these things even though I have people who can help me organize or learn how to organize— I just don’t trust them
Nor do I have an environment or a motivational ability to see success as only money and things we can’t change but want to ourselves naturally and have completely destroyed the values of each other as men and women per generation that has passed into getting professional careers as many immoral kuckolding /only fans/ AI investments and things that aren’t leading towards a world of loyalty and trust that isn’t about corruption being given opportunities after gaining a certificate that just puts your chances higher to get a job in a position that requires a certificate whilst the employers are usually looking at your experience and exposure to the work itself .
I’d say the delivery of important knowledge isn’t made to be important at all in this country or any country copying the idea of success from these colleges.
We have to compromise certain things but it’s not necessary when you see how many people suffer less or more less out of these things
What has college and education done about anything regarding knowledge being actively and critically spoken about in observations?
We can’t even say that men commit suicide more than women without automatically being labeled as misogynistic in todays fake peopls/Disney/Hollywood culture.
When young people realize that many people aren’t being about principles as much as they grow further towards irrelevance whilst thinking they’re “advancing “ is just part of a broader delusion that labels terrible stresses as “positive stresses “😂

what was your schedule looking like? How did you balance being an adult and working, while also doing school and getting an accounting degree? Did you have time for friends, hobbies, girlfriend etc?

I remember going to college at 22-24 or so, but I was a bad student, bad minset, lacked life experience, no license. I failed after 2 semesters and was put on academic suspension. Now I'm 31, In the process of Re-admission and getting that stuff taken care of. I honestly can't believe I'm going back, now it's not even about the degree anymore or getting a job, it's about finishing what I started. And that's a very different feeling vs I want to go to college to get that degree. Sounds weird but that's how I'm looking at it. I'm also a very different person now at 31, lots of rejection and life experience and pain really adds up. Back then I took on too much way too early, now I'm gonna start off a bit easier and gradually work it up.

I think when you’re older at least for me you care less about what others think . I’m going back to college at 40 years old . I’m not going for the bachelors simply because I can’t do four years . I’m just pursuing my associates degree in business administration then real estate license . My goal is to obtain a college degree fast then get other qualifications behind my name . I chose fields that don’t require higher education but it can be helpful moving up . I work my ass off in whatever I do . With just a CDLs I rivaled a college graduates pay . It’s all about applying yourself with some education .

I'm 26 years old this year, looking to get back into tertiary studies after dropping out twice from Uni at 19 and 21 years old. I was sick and tired of working crappy jobs (albeit some of the workplace cultures were great), on top of that my ADHD made it more tough to work those jobs as I'd lose interest very quickly and not feeling I was reaching my full potential. I've now come to a point in my mid-twenties where I feel more developed through life experiences and now want to commit to myself, and push myself to do what I really want to do, even though I've got to do the 3-4 years of studying. This video really helped and I'm hoping to finish with a Bachelors when I'm 29 years old.

At the tender age of 17, I found myself in a position that many could only dread—I dropped out of high school, feeling lost and uncertain about my future. In a world that often demands a degree as proof of worth, I managed to earn my GED, a flicker of hope in what felt like a daunting darkness. Fast forward to 30, a decade later, and I took a monumental leap. I stepped onto a college campus for the first time, my heart pounding with trepidation and determination. Now, at 31, I’m in the throes of my second year of college, navigating the challenges of academia with resilience born from countless life experiences.

My journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced hardship, spending time behind bars and moving through various states, seeking solace and stability. But through the chaos, the most profound motivation has emerged: my son. At just 4 years old, he has become my guiding star, his innocent gaze urging me to strive for more, to be better. The thought of him drives me to return to school, not just for myself, but to forge a brighter, more secure future for him.

I envision a life where I can be the father figure he deserves—a role model who shows him the value of hard work, perseverance, and the pursuit of dreams. I want to provide him with all the opportunities that I wish I had growing up, and I know that education is the key to unlocking that better life. Each late-night study session, every early morning class, every challenge I face is a step closer to that vision.

This journey is not just about earning a degree; it’s about transforming our lives. It’s about breaking the cycle and proving that with determination, change is possible. I want to be a living testament to the idea that it’s never too late to chase your dreams and that it’s the love for your child that can ignite a fire within you. I aspire to build a legacy of strength and resilience for him, one that he can carry forward, inspiring him to dream even bigger.

Im 29 , i went back to college the beginning of 2024. I went to college in my early 20's i didn't know what i wanted to do. I dropped out. But as i got older i began to have a different mindset and discovered what i wanted to major in. It put a drive to take college seriously. Especially, since i talked to a counselor and they gave me some great news that. My Gpa wasnt bad. And theres less required classes that i had to take back then. So, it was the perfect time to go back to school. And theres alot of online classes. Which made it easier to manage. I recommend anyone from any age to go back to school. Nobody cares how old you are.

Not everyone is able to just go to college right after high school! Some of us need to find our way back and be motivated to go back! I had to change my mindset over the years and be sure I was sure what I wanted to do is what I wanted to do.
