Ahhh fkoff ya arseholes. Regulate everything why don’t you 🖕🖕🖕🖕 Why let the retailers sell them in the first place.
Ответить'We want you to go electric....NO NOT THAT WAY, It has to be a way we can tax you for'
Ответитьoh noes they avoid Tyranny can't have that
ОтветитьGet a job cop
Ответить😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
ОтветитьFinally
ОтветитьThis is beyond a joke. This country has the biggest clown leading the show and this is a side show 😂. Over reach regulations.
ОтветитьAs soon they find way to charge you rego for it just see how quick it will become legal.
Ответить$3000 dollar fine? What a ridiculous ripoff. Classified as a motorbike. Are no it’s electric. Like your mama’s sewing machine. Let them buy them when they get popular fine them. Just like smoking, get them addicted, then put the tax up. This country sux.
ОтветитьThe shops who sell those bikes, they know they are illigal but, they don't get mention nor fined. Bunch of hypocrites those cops!
Go after the one who cannot defend themselves... Kids!
I get the 24km/h thing, but not the throttle element. What’s the difference in danger between throttle and pedalling?
Ответитьa lot of the e bikes have a throttle which works up to around 6 klm per hour and as an 87 year old this is essential for getting started quickly particularly at intersections as these bikes are very heavy to start off pedaling for an older person
ОтветитьThis story shows how ridiculous some rules are in Australia.
I don’t want my kids riding around having serious accidents on these bikes but I do want all the deliveries done on these bikes.
As they are banned, that means we should have a couple hundred thousand petrol based scooters to do that work. Aren’t we trying to save the planet by forcing everyone to get electric cars. This is one of those rules that hasn’t caught up we the green agenda, or are we not really serious about saving the planet.
25 kph speed limit
What a stupid law
A guy on a regular pushie was keeping up with me the other day at 50 kph
I'm glad I don't live there 😂
ОтветитьLying cops my mountain bike goes 80 down hill no moter
ОтветитьI am under 18 so you can not touch me
Ha Ha Ha.
The insurance companies, police and tax office all lose out on money when they can't charge you for everything they charge you when you have a government approved mode of transport. It's all about the money. This doesn't have sh!t to do with safety. The Australian government was beating people with batons for not wearing a mask.
ОтветитьI don't think all the truths are being told here.
I don't trust this content, or it's creators.
Focus on arresting drug dealers,. There is a 25km speed limit on e scooters in Victoria, bet you if the government could make money out of them somehow this wouldn't be an issue, bring in a registration for them
Ответитьthis is stupid if it has a throttle and doesn't go over 25 kmh and has a chain why should it be illegal
ОтветитьWe dont live in a free country at all
ОтветитьWhat is so scary about this segment and all other "news segments" is the total absence of subjective, proper reporting night after night, or actual important topics/events. The media in this country operates on a diet of utter gobshite; ignoring the important issues that overseas channels report on that have a domino effect around the world. Probably own by that POS WEF Klaus "Anal" Schwab.
ОтветитьUntil government find a way to make money from registrations on these, they will illegal. There a fine line there.
ОтветитьThis is such bs
Ответитьwhat a load of crap who made these laws they are assholes!
Ответитьthe legislation is stupid
Ответить"Get the message through parents" Yeeaah, right!
Ответить400 deaths in 2024 caused by drunk drivers. We really need to ban cars so we keep our streets safe!
ОтветитьWelcome to the nanny state. Why don't the cops stick to tasering 95yo's in retirement villages and leave ebikes alone.
ОтветитьThis is so stupid
ОтветитьI don't agree or disagree. But glad they made it clear that throttle only ebikes are illegal.
Ответитьaw mate let us have fun
Ответить"How many times have you had to dodge an e-bike..."
About 1/100th as many times as a car, which can drive much faster with much more deadly kinetic energy, which has been one of the leading causes of premature death in virtually every country around the world.
But sure... let's hear how e-bikes have ruined society today.
Makes me glad I live in the States. 😁
ОтветитьFxxck boomers cracking down on ebikes. Why are scooters legal there is literally no difference
ОтветитьGay
ОтветитьCommunist Australia
ОтветитьThen why the hell are they sold at jbhifi etc.
ОтветитьF*ck cars
ОтветитьAustralians don’t have liberty like other countries. It’s a nanny state where government always not only knows best but always gets to impose its will as a rule.
ОтветитьLike this is an issue. Australians are about to loose their country and there talking about this crap. This keep lazy cops and magistrates on ridiculous fat salaries. Australia is cooked.
ОтветитьAll this enforcement is going to seem like a waste when the law changes to accommodate the trend.
ОтветитьMake the bikes like the skipper ticket system they're licensed but not as big of a system as cars
ОтветитьOMG - I don't think anyone under 60 with an IQ above 60 watches the news anymore. Unless it's as a comedy for laughs.
ОтветитьA bicycle helmet is only good for 20kph so they won't be much use at any speed above that, a cheap open-face motorcycle helmet is more suitable for these e-motorcycles
ОтветитьIf they're illegal why are they available for purchase? Why don't the cops go after the people selling them? It's always easier for them to go after the little guys.
Ответить"They're fast, loud, and often illegal."
Bruh they are not loud wtf. Dumb media
I can understand why they'd want to regulate top speed, sure. but the law about throttle only being illegal is absurdly stupid.
ОтветитьLol Australia sucks mate! 😂😂
