As I watch this I'm like, "Dude, I totally need to get one of those cameras with the stereo mics and all" then I'm like "I have no clue what I would do with it." lol
ОтветитьFYI, it's "Qué es su nombre." Llama = call (v); also 'tu' is impolite for someone you've just met.
ОтветитьIt would be cool to have closed captioning for this video too, I'd love to know what the guy at 24:00 said. But thanks for the this awesome video!
ОтветитьWill this be translated like the first one?
ОтветитьIf I ever get a time machine, I'm getting Lary's autograph.
ОтветитьI watched it again on full page...wow, my partner would have passed out about half way up the stairs! lol Yep, he's afraid of heights. He often says, "If I ever go missing, don't bother looking up. I won't be there!" lol I Have always dreamed of going to MP. But since I'm over 60 now if probably won't happen. So thanks for your video. It brings it to me.
ОтветитьSo how about translating it all for us non spanish speakers.
ОтветитьI don't speak a work of Spanish and I enjoyed every minute of your talk with the guide. Thank you for all that you do for us.
Ответитьit was so charming to listen to your conversations, i have never appreciated learning the little bit of spanish i know so much, thank you
ОтветитьThank you, that was awesome :-)
ОтветитьI really want to go to Machu Picchu now! It looks so cool!
Ответитьsecond channel for SMARTER every day yet this ones name is "funner" every day....
ОтветитьMaybe someone has already asked this, but what "earpieces" were you using to capture the binaural sound? Did you use a separate recorder or just hook the stereo audio feed into the GoPro? The binaural recordings I've heard before use a Neumann KU 100 sort of set up, it seems in this case the thing providing the HRTF (Head-related Transform Function) was actually your head!
Ответитьnext time, film it in 3D and blow our minds! Thanks for letting me revisit this fantastic place!
Ответитьa translation of that spanish conversation would be nice
ОтветитьWhy was this day so much less crowded than in the previous video?
ОтветитьYou should put a warning on this video for people who get very bad motion sickness. so nauseous.
ОтветитьDestin, the video was muy interesante as usual! I have never visited machu Pichu but now I have! I LOVE this series, Smarter Every Day, and you are very awesome. Quick question, is there any significance in your name, Destin?
ОтветитьI get the worst motion sickness, but I was perfectly fine watching this. Just stay focused on the center of the screen and you'll be fine.
ОтветитьFound a floating head in his res camera picture :P
ОтветитьI got it so bad in this video. i almost got sick I couldnt watch all of it because of it.
ОтветитьAwesome! It feels almost real
Ответить32:38 dejavu anyone???
Ответитьlol yeah
ОтветитьThe High quality of the construction!
ОтветитьI can't watch this in one go, because my brain is getting conflicting information from my balance organ and my eyes and ears, and it's making me motion sick.
ОтветитьWhen you were talking to that guy, you were talking about a lesson, and you said "lesion" which is spanish for a wound, instead its "leccion" and the double C is pronounced like an "X" I hope I help you with your spanish, because I am spanish myself. :)
Ответитьi wish videogames felt like this :3
ОтветитьThey will ... soon
ОтветитьI've found you!!!
ОтветитьYou're with a floating head and without your camera
ОтветитьThere should be a rule that if you pick up trash then you're allowed to jump
ОтветитьI actually found you in the photo you guys took :D
ОтветитьHes right there
ОтветитьWow this is especially good with Bose QC15
ОтветитьWith my Grado's it's sounds like I'm there
ОтветитьDid you set the camera angle to converge with your eyesight, and if so at what distance? Or did you attempt to make it parallel to your viewing angle?
Ответитьim not sure if some one already said this or clarified, but when the man was explaining how he got the larger rocks on. they used two sticks and pushed the rock up the sticks as an inclined plane.
ОтветитьWow this is great! I'm Peruvian but I've never been to Machu Pichu ^○^ I really want to go though
Ответитьmore vids like that please!!!
Ответитьthis is the best video of Picchu i've seen
ОтветитьI put this video up full-screen. I found I was getting a bit oozy near the end after having watched the first and this one. I volunteer in a dome theater. It would be nice to take three go-pros next time you do this and capture a full hemisphere on a stick as you walk. Then, if we could put it up on the dome, everyone could look the direction they would like. We have 16 channel sound there, so another binaural mic or two would be cool, too! Hope you might consider it next time you do something like this. Awesome!
ОтветитьI thought you said you were going to run! (Puff Pant, where's the oxygen?)
ОтветитьThose Mics sound pretty nice. Do you have a brand name for me? :)
Ответитьthank you for your wonderful videos, i really get smarter every day, find new places to go and new things to learn about.
keep up the good work.
It's amazing that so few people fall to their death every year
ОтветитьFrom what I see, it seems that the people of Machu Picchu were not drinking alcohol otherwise they would have been gone already... oh, wait...
ОтветитьThanks for letting me tag along. Just breathtaking. As a retired Space Shuttle Operator for 26 years and two SSBN's subs, anything Space or Sub related I watch. Your series on nuclear subs is very educational and really really KOOL. I look forward to watching both your channels in the coming years. Ross
