American Pie (1999) 4K UHD Blu-ray Review!

Hard to believe it's been 25 years

I'm hoping we get a US version of all 4 soon.

Are the extras on the 4K as well
Or just the blu ray ?

I hope most the series comes to 4k.

This made me feel old. I was a senior in high school the first time I watched this. I do love this movie though. I actually love the whole series, even the weird spin-offs.

Although I do love these types of movies, I have no need at all to upgrade the Blu-ray.

Random question, is the included Blu-ray the old BR or is it remastered?

Check out "Blue Ribbon Baking Championship". This show is unintentionally hilarious. They set out to clone the Great British Baking Show in America and made it over-the-top American, it's set in a state fair and the first thing they make is food ON A STICK! It's exactly as if Christopher Guest made "Best in Baking Show". One of the judges is a Melania look-alike in a Stepford Wife dress. The choice of the celebrity comic-relief guy is the best part. It's like they asked chatgpt what C-list comic actor had some association, any association, with baking. And they picked Jason Biggs, the guy who f*d a pie in American Pie. You can't make this up.

I don’t understand why this didn’t get a US release, American Pie is a very popular movie and so were the sequels, even the straight to video ones.

I hope they do Part 2 now in a similar collectors edition. Awesome set.

Never thought we'd see Jim knee deep in pie in 4k

One of my favorite movies 🥧. I was 16 years old in the Summer of 1999. Great times like the boxset of this but I already have a collectors edition Blu-ray 📀. I preorder the 25th anniversary boxset of Blair Witch + another great movie that Summer 99.

Surely 1999 isn't 25 years ago! But yet it is!! A film like this just wouldn't get made today! That's more an indictment of our times when basically you're not allowed to be funny anymore! Pre ordered this a while back so looking forward to receiving it! Great review as usual Adam!

I saw American Pie at the cinema when it was released. I was 14 yrs old. A screening I'll never forget, it was like a party! I should get my copy on Monday. The 4K image looks fantastic.

It's weird that this film got a 4K release in the UK but not in the USA however I am from the UK so I'm well lucky but I do want to move to the USA when I'm older
