I would love to try this out! I have so many split ends yikes! But I love using the Hairitage split end rescue cream and leave in conditioners, which I feel makes my hair look healthier :)

What about the oil you have to put on the blades??? I’m kinda confused about that but it says you have to put some on before you use this.

If you start it so high up , won’t it just create a bunch of uneven layers down the hair shafts?

The one you have is NOT the new version of the Split Ender. It is a knock off. Use at your own risk. The original Split Ender is really good.

I think it will damage your hair in the long term since normally you need to cut hair with a super sharp blade

We get new growth all the time, and new hairs will be shorter and the ends can poke out. Those are not split ends. How could these devices know the difference? I doubt they do.
