How to clean the CORSAIR K55 RGB Keyboard

How hard is it to pop off the key caps? Mine are very difficult.

what i found works well too is put ur keycaps in a strainer and hold the strainer down with a plate or something so the keycaps don't fall out and put them in the dishwasher, no soap and low temps works great

Every year i take one saturday morning to clean my whole periferics and is so confortable and relaxing, Usually i deep clean 1 time per year the inside CPU and every weekend the outside including speakers and monitor.

Yours has Corsair text on top? I would've love to have that on mine 😔

Thank you, just cleaned mine. Took about an hour and a half as i didnt have the key puller and used a Qtip to clean all the areas. Wasnt sure what to do with the space bar etc so thanks!

Hi, i have a lil struggle trying to put back to keys that have a lil metal branch like the spacebar and enter keys, how should i attach them ? To both the key and the keyboard, or only one of them, when i attach the lil metal branch to both key and keyboard the key doesnt move properly..

i did this to clean my corsair keyboard and when i replaced the keys they felt very loose...

I was scared of removing the keys from my keyboard just in case this one had none-removable ones (not sure if those really exist), thanks.

does anyone know how to clean the sound buttons, they are very sticky but you cant take those off so i dont know how to clean them

Biggest issue with my k55 has been dead skin buildup over the many months which is prty gross tbh. I used to get a small toothpick and manually clean every single crevese on a grid pattern but this seems way more efficient. Thanks for posting this video! Was literally abt to just buy a new keyboard but will give it a good clean. Hopefully no keys break in the process 🤞🤞

I was really hoping u would show how to clean the wrist-rest. This pattern is so infuriating, it gets so dirty so fast. It's impossible to keep clean and remove dirt due to the triangular grid...

I need to do this soon! I didn't know the keys could be removed, granted I did just try one and it takes a lot of force to pull off, scared I'll break it XD
