More ninjas! Thanks Brian
ОтветитьAnother awesome video ❤ love the knockoff 🎉
ОтветитьNot only did you get a Mr. Rock, but the strangest of circumstances brought him to you!
Life is mysterious!
Mr Rock! I'd love to own one along a Mr Spock. Enjoy it!
ОтветитьMr Rock! I am unreasonably happy for you!
ОтветитьI want the Boy George Ninja!
ОтветитьI find that first Spock you showed in the strange shirt interesting. It looks casual. Like Spock on his day offs But I’m deeply amused by Mr. Rock. CAN YOU SMELL WHAT MR ROCK IS COOKING?!
ОтветитьMr. Rock. Well....he, rocks!
ОтветитьGS stands for Galaxy Spock!
ОтветитьMr. Rock! Congratulations!
ОтветитьMy guess would be that the deceased relative thought he got a great deal on the Mr. Spock doll his child, grandchild, or nephew asked for, but then looked at it more carefully when he was about to wrap the present and tossed it in the attic when he realized it was a knock off.
ОтветитьLive long and MR Rock!
ОтветитьIn the knock-off group shot at the end, what is the figure between color blind Batman and Mr. Rock? The thing reminds me of Mr. Schnider, the resident pull-string talking mannequin on "The Monkees"
ОтветитьCongrats on your carded Mr. Rock.
ОтветитьGreat video, I love Megos!
ОтветитьApe Wars ftw
ОтветитьMr Rock rocks! :D
ОтветитьMaybe with that Zorro you could say it’s Steve going to comic con and do a painting of that figure a comic convention holding a bag of Zorro merch and reading a Zorro pulp magazine for next art project
ОтветитьI really enjoy these videos showing these oddities! Congrats on getting Mr Rock! It's always nice to get that "one". I'm sure he has a perfect spot on your shelves!
ОтветитьGS- "I Grock Spock". Look it up for a laugh, I'll bet that is what it means.
ОтветитьKnock off figures are like the B movies of the toy world. I love them!
ОтветитьThat Mr Rock figure is so gorgeous! I'm happy with the custom boxed version that was done a few years back because i'm pretty sure I won't find an original one, but that is so cool
ОтветитьAquaman in a Mr. Fantastic suit was my go-to Johnny Storm. In fact, looking back, Aquaman was the most useful Mego of all; he was an extra crewman for Enterprise away missions (usually a red shirt), he was Viking Prince when in Conan clothes (after a spare Thor got a disaterous haircut), he was Steve Rogers, you name it. Good memories, good times.
ОтветитьThere's a whole knock off planet of the apes TV show and toy line from bullmark called time of the apes.
ОтветитьA boxed set of monsters and now a carded Mr rock!!!!! I could only dream
ОтветитьLooked at what i could afford 😮 and doubled it🤦🤦🤦😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьLove seeing these knock-offs.
They are like artifacts from an alternate reality.
Shame the master of ninja figure doesn't have the lemon-lime colored outfit from the card.
That was pretty snazzy looking.
Hell yeah, seeing Stretch Monster in the intro instantly took me back to childhood! I wanted the Monster my little brother took, Armstrong. I always like the monsters and bad guys LOL. Great video as usual!
ОтветитьSpock (galaxy trek ), is wearing his 70s street clothes .
ОтветитьRegular sized Steve
ОтветитьGalaxy Trek was my favorite show next to Gilligan's Brady Bunch and Happy Days and Mindy😮
ОтветитьOn fire Aquaman will have me asking wtf till the end of my days
ОтветитьGS = Goods Stolen 😆
Ответитьi've long had vague memories of an interest in Zoro when i was 3 and 4yo in the late 70s. I asked other kids & they have no such memory. But i lived in UK till i was five! thanks for explaining that! congratulations on Mr. Rock!
ОтветитьI remember seeing some knock off/mash ups in drug stores way back when. My family would always try to steer me towards those rather than the Megos I was always clamoring for. At the time I was affronted, now I wish I had the opportunity again.
ОтветитьCongratulations on your “Mr. Rock” figure!!
ОтветитьMr. Rock resembles Canadian SCTV actor Dave Thomas! Congrats on finding him. There’s a whole world of knock off characters out there!
Ответить❤ Ape Wars! ❤
ОтветитьLol, the Krazy Kreeps artwork is a direct copy of Disney's "The chilling, thrilling sounds of a Haunted House" record. I still have mine.
ОтветитьGalaxy Trek….. GTFOH!!! That’s absolutely fantastic; I love interesting knock offs. 😂😂😂
ОтветитьNice items I really thought the karate guys head looked very much like a big Jim figure.👍
ОтветитьCongrats on the great finds, especially Mr Rock! Of what you showed in this episode, that’s definitely a grail for me.
But I gotta tell ya, the Galaxy Trek header put a fish hook in me as well… those Marian (Marien?) dolls in the 1999 uniforms might be a good way to get extra Alphans to crew my Moonbase….
Man i've been going to your website for a long time this is so great! Please would you consider doing a Toy Store episode, that waz always my fav part of the site!!! I had 3 of the 4 Secret Identiy figures, just bought a '79 Superman MOC yesterday, getting back into Mego baby! :) - George :
ОтветитьMr. Rock is too cool, he looks like he knows how to party at the mess hall! lol
ОтветитьFor those who don’t know: A Z I = Azrach Hamway International. A defunct toy company.
