ОтветитьHoney Candy recipe
ОтветитьHi Anna, wow your homemade sponge toffee looks so good and tasty, and so easy to make.I love and enjoy watching your oh yum video,I have all of the ingredients to make it at home including the square cake pan and parchment paper. What is the sugar and carb content in your recipe?I am a diabetic so I am not sure if I can make it or eat it.
ОтветитьWould I be able to pour this mixture into silicone candy, molds, to make it more uniform shape
ОтветитьDo you grease the pan before or after the parchment paper?
ОтветитьBro I literally dont understand. why is it called honeycomb?
ОтветитьI finally tried this today. It’s just poured it into the pan. No idea how to clean pot?
ОтветитьPreviously, I've never made anything even remotely close to this. All the pointers were wise words. It turned out beautifully! This is a recipe to trust!
ОтветитьEww that was nothing like sponge 😂😂😂😂 ask chef Miachel to make it next time
ОтветитьI've tried it out but you can feel the taste of the baking soda. Is that normal or I'm doing something wrong?
ОтветитьI thought it was cut bones at first glance. 😅
ОтветитьAnna would bang like a barn door
ОтветитьWhy not just use baking powder?
ОтветитьThanks anna
❤
Has anyone cut this into squares? Im familiar with store bought versions, so Im aware of the texture. Is there a more tidy way to get consistent sized pices? Any advice?
ОтветитьI just watched your video right after this one where you made toffee, and now I’m tempted to make sponge toffee with chocolate coating. A favourite of mine from my childhood; Crunchie bars.
ОтветитьBaking soda and cream of tarter is just baking powder
Ответить@ohyum will this recipe still work if i cut all the ingredients in half for a smaller batch?
ОтветитьHoney 👸
Baking soda 🎂
Cream of tartar 🧑🚀
Water 🩸
Sugar 💒
Golden corn syrup 🍬
Very cool. Going to check out the channel to see what other goodies may be lurking about.
EDIT: Ok, the fact that so many of the videos oddly start with her name is balanced out with the fact that she has "Described" videos which, I imagine, are actually supposed to be for the visually impaired but list as: "This video is presented in described video for the hearing impaired."
The effort is absolutely noted & appreciated.
That doesn't look like a tablespoon and a half of honey. Looks like a Quarter cup.
ОтветитьMy mother used to do this every Easter. As a kid, it was the best I ever had; of course, I do buy from the stores now. But Anna I am going to try your receipt, thank you so much for reminding me my beautiful loving mother on a few days before Easter this year. My mother died in 2007 from cervical cancer on December 18th. Her ceremony was on December 24th. Nothing to do with this, but your receipt reminded me of her once again and how amazing she always was.
ОтветитьCould you please give me the recipe? I do not speak english. did not understand what you said
ОтветитьThis toffee is the best way to pull out a loose filling or tooth
ОтветитьI'm making this right now 🤞🏻 it comes out well
ОтветитьIt's honeycomb not sponge toffee
ОтветитьYou made a great edible osteoporosis model! 😅
ОтветитьI have just stumped across your channel of deliciousness and totally hit the subscribe button!!
ОтветитьYou can totally stir the fact that you have.Corn syrup in there will prevent crystallization
Ответитьthis doesn't taste good. I tried making it.
ОтветитьHoneycomb sound way better than Sponge Toffee
ОтветитьMine turned out great but question: how do I prevent the baking soda/cream of tartar mixture from forming pebble sized clumps in the finished product? I sifted as instructed. I’m wondering if it’s the humidity in the air and it’s unavoidable? I don’t want to stir too much and lose the bubbles.
ОтветитьI followed the directions in this recipe video and it came out as a pan full of soft, foamy mush. Six hours later, no change. All those ingredients down the drain! Absolutely terrible! 👎
ОтветитьIt's candy or poison 3.5 cups sugar,4.5 cups corn syrup honey 5 teaspoon baking soda
ОтветитьOh yum Anna Olson, your honeycomb sponge toffee looks so good and tasty,I wish that I could make it at home and eat it but I cannot make your recipe at home because I have type 2 diabetes and I am really careful not to eat sugary desserts that have a lot of sugar in recipes.
Ответитьinstead of honey you can use corn syrup but what psychopath puts in corn syrup??
also is it supposed to be chewy? or is it supposed to be like the crunch chocolate bar
I know that your video is 5 years old but I have watched your homemade sponge toffee quite a few times now,it looks so good and tasty and it would be so nice to make it at home but I can't do that because of the high sugar in your recipe,I have type 2 diabetes and your recipe will put my blood sugar up really high.
ОтветитьAnyone have a better way to cut it into more uniform pieces other than smashing it with a rolling pin? Can you cut it or not really?
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI’ve been doing this for years figured it out when I made peanut brittle the baking soda you put it the lighter and easier it gets to eat. Love it like this
ОтветитьThank you so much for this helpful video. My only tip, break the slab from the smooth bottom. It cracks far more easily. Thanks again!
ОтветитьHow on earth do I clean the pan
ОтветитьNo no. Too much baking soda unhealthy. Do not support her.
Ответитьis that dal-go-na traditional cookey in korea?
ОтветитьTo clean the pot, you don't need to scrape it. Just add water and the sugar will dissolve. Science.
ОтветитьWish I could make it but the pan I use is about half that size and I don't have a thermometer
ОтветитьAnna is well fit
Ответитьcan you make this without corn syrup. I'm allergic to it. :(
ОтветитьWould there be a way to use only honey instead of granulated sugar to make the toffee? This recipe would be awesome to try with all-honey!
ОтветитьThank you for watching our latest video! Don't forget to check out the recipe in the description and let us know how your Sponge Toffee turned out!
