Growing up for years, I've always heard it was "illegal" to give money and feed the homeless. I learned a little too late that it actually wasn't. Took me a while to get the courage to do research and go to the police station personally to ask. But either way, that never stopped me. I would just look both ways before doing it lol.

First of I want to say you are doing an amazing job!!! I love what you are doing!!!!
I brine my turkey overnight as well. But the onion and lemon is not just for taste it's also for moisture. I use lemon, onion and apple in my turkey. Then after the seasoning paste under the skin I wrap the turkey in bacon and heavily pepper and paprika the bacon.

Rice is cheap, you can buy it in huge bags and cheap in the international sidles of grocery stores and it's a great carb!

When getting things for the homeless .....ALWAYS get large, 1 X, 2X, 3X, 4X in clothes sizes as they are very hard to get and
also homeless people LAYER.
There's tons of clothes that are small and medium. When you go in clothes stores, the first to go and then all that's left is the small and extra small.
Same with shoes! Get the LARGEST size in footwear you can!
Also get MITTS, ADULT MITTS, you'll notice that snowmobile riders ALWAYS WEAR MITTS NOT GLOVES!!

Warm thick socks, boxer short underwear and adult MITTENS are a hundred times warmer than gloves.

This remarkable young man is truly a gift from God! His passion for what he does is evident in everything he undertakes.
