But what are these "fundamentals" that you keep talking about, can you make a video to list them down?
Because I don't want to learn PHP, I believe I can learn those "fundamentals" in some other lang.
🥺
ОтветитьIf you got vanilla js pretty well learnt any framework will become quite easy
ОтветитьThank u professor
ОтветитьThis came in an appropriate time I've just started learning React.
ОтветитьVery true. When I started learning laravel i began by learning from projects and I realized I was just doing mostly copy and paste. But when I began learning the fundamentals from the docs and then implementing them...I got better and wrote Better codes.
ОтветитьHey guys
I am a computer science student, I have already worked with Angular and now I want to learn ReactJS.
Any tutorial you would suggest ? ( I don't want a tutorial for new beginner)
this is a good reminder for beginners
ОтветитьWhat about who wants to only learn android and iOS app dev ? Flutter is so advanced for noob like me
ОтветитьWoah, Montreal looks cold at that time of the year! (Typing from a 35ºC Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
ОтветитьYeah, I've held out long enough. I'm signing up for StudioWeb.
ОтветитьFundamentals 👏🏾 always.
ОтветитьWhat do you think about flutter web future? I know it’s still too early but some speculation maybe?
ОтветитьWhat's the point of living in a tower (Montreal?) for low-income people like in my torontonian (temporary) neighborhood if so successful selling courses?
ОтветитьLove how motivating you are about Ruby, which my bootcamp course forces us to learn.
ОтветитьWhats the matter with learning ruby? Im a full Ruby/Rails developer and I enjoy it so much. I think devs that hate a language are not senior developers. I've never hear a very good dev criticizing another language. Is like those people who talk bad about PHP, are just idiots trying to be "intelligent" when there aren't
Ответить... or im not gonna do this with ruby on rails... yikes xd
ОтветитьI wish recruiters could watch your videos, especially South African tech recruiters. Basically in our country they only focus on frameworks as requirements for jobs. Even if you understand the fundamentals you will not get a job if you haven't used some framework, say React even if you understand the fundamentals such as javascript, HTML5, etc. And have something built for demonstrating.
Ответитьquickest way : do a foking project
ОтветитьPlease do a talk about lit-html. Also Strapi js!
ОтветитьLOL... I laughed at this "or I'm NOT gonna do this with Ruby on Rails".
Why are you always sneering at Ruby on Rails? Do you have personal problems with DHH or Basecamp? LOL.. just kidding!
lol that seemed like an abrupt ending.
Ответитьlisten to you is too much boring to do... Make it interesting please
ОтветитьDo some languages die out , how do i know is it to late to start learning react?
ОтветитьWhen you don't know the fundamentals you're memorizing syntax, when your fundamentals are solid you understand all the inner workings because react is nothing more than JS under the hood.
ОтветитьGreat info that applies to pretty much learning anything!
Ответитьwhat are the fundamentals?!!!
ОтветитьThe biggest mistake that you can make after watching this video is ...
learning Ruby fundamentals :D
So what should I do?
ОтветитьAfter struggling to really learn Flask / Django, and hearing you talk well about PHP, I went ahead and read a beginners book on PHP ... now I'm feeling that it should be considered one of the fundamentals, I feel like I can really understand / use an MVC now...
ОтветитьYou have always been so helpful with all the great and realistic information. Thanks.
ОтветитьHahahaahaha...always dissing Ruby on Rails lol! Thanks for sharing you knowledge Stefan.
ОтветитьQuickest way to learn react: Don't.
ОтветитьPhp is dead
ОтветитьI have a pretty good understanding of html css and JavaScript but I'm not confident enough or rather say have not done a project of my own..do you think that I can jump into learning react....I would really appreciate your reply. Thanks
ОтветитьCan i learn javascript from your courses?
Ответитьhe troll clever qazii.. cleverlyy.. LOL
ОтветитьIt may seem he want u to take his course but each line he saying is true and good if u follow
Ответитьwhen i was searching about reactjs, i saw recommended search items like "learning react without learning javascript" people are crazy
ОтветитьGreat insight!
ОтветитьI just bought your course. Didn’t realize it was created six years ago. I wish I’d known.
ОтветитьWhat kind of camera are you using?
ОтветитьThanks man. You hooked me onto react JS and let go of Vue for a while in your last video. Amazing quality of video and audio. Can you please also let us known about the Camera and Lens you are using if you wouldn't mind answering that. I'm really curious to know that.
Ответитьso the first thing I have to do is learn fundamentals of Ruby, right?
ОтветитьWhatever happens, I’m not doing this with Ruby on Rails lol
ОтветитьYou could just study what's going to be on test, React job interview - Questions Fredrik Christenson. You just have put in time find right material. With every video grab word go down rabbit hole
ОтветитьAfter I learned React, I just came back to this video to tell that you told the truth :D . Thank you. I learned the JS fundamentals (I had previous experience in Python) and wrote notes on about 10 papers (basics, ECMA differences etc...). Then I just moved to React tutorials and I understood everything great (and if not, then I just looked back at my papers/notes). The thing that made me much more problems was of organizational nature - how to structure my project, best practices, state management (Redux vs Context), how to handle CSS etc. Then I also looked at Vue, but somehow React gets easier into my head (just my personal experience). Thanks for your advices, they bring purity into the confusing nerd vs real world programming.
ОтветитьIt's good reminder to do first things first, thank you.
ОтветитьWhat helped me with web stuff is the basic concepts behind XML, or markup languages in general. Not necessarily master it but make a schema, write valid XML, develop a DTD. Learn those terms implement them, and move on. It might only take a day or 2. Good XML book might only take about 100 pages with code examples, or some short TY vids.
