A bit worrying to hear flights will be stopped. I flew into Madrid earlier this year and the only train to Valencia that evening left Atocha 40 minutes after my plane landed (which was also slightly delayed). There was no way I would have made that connection, and it was the same story when looking at flights through Barcelona. (I ended up flying from Madrid a few hours later.) So it seems that in the future the only way to fly to Valencia will be via a city outside of Spain.

No,no,no. The north of Spain is not trendy, it rains a lot, you have to walk through too many mountains, too many cliffs and backroads. No! Avoid it! Go as always to Torremolinos or to the coasts of Valencia, stay there, among the crowds.

This is great stuff. We love your channel. We are going to Spain in 2025 and are thinking that the fast trains are the way to go for us. Coming from Australia, a little nervous about driving. So more train destinations please.

We are traversing the Pyrenees from Bilbao to Begur on the costa Brava staying here for a week via Ainsa and then back via Leila and Navara before travelling back to England via Bordeaux and Saumur in the Loire region, a three week journey in June, can’t wait

Northern Spain is often forgotten about and a lovely place. Of course, the weather isn't always great but there are many sights to see and it's less crowded. A more authentic experience too. I really like Fabada.

In Spain the most iconic restaurant is Sublimotion Ibiza, tech meets 2 Michelin star cuisine , price per seat 1650€ per session, 2 hours and 10 courses 🎉 It has beaten El Bulli restaurant of Faran Adrian 🏆

Lots of beautiful places to see in Spain. I like that high speed rail is available in many parts of Spain as well as throughout Europe. I also like the fact that there are plans to phaseout short haul airline flights and instead make use of more environmentally friendly high speed rail. I only hope a similar move be made here in the USA.

Thank you for the warning about Americas Cup in Barcelona...I was thinking of staying closer to the waterfront when I am there in September since I have never had time to check out that part of the city...but maybe not! Good to be aware that lodging prices might be higher.
