Woods hasn’t played a game of cup I think the earliest for him in first grade is 2027, Hayward to shift into the 7? I’ve always had the feeling he’d take over the 7 at some point this season, it would also help them lock him down long term before switching to the 9 when Woods is ready.

Yes, the Dogs improved with Critar, Burton, Kikau etc. But they didn't go to the next level until they switched Hutchinson for Sexton about half way through last year.

If Galvin comes to the dogs he’ll take sexton’s spot. They won’t move Burton nor they should. No reason why Galvin/burton combo won’t work in the dogs system. It’s not like sexton is much of a game manager anyway.

Galvin rejected a million a year beyond his current contract. Will he be able to get that at the dogs and be the highest earner there more than critter etc? If he doesn’t that means the player manager hasn’t done the best for client. Something about this move doesn’t make sense both on and off the field.

Eels need to forget about galvin. Get a decent running 6 who wont break the bank to partner moses and invest in the forward pack.

yeh the dogs literally train for ball in play for 7 minutes at a time set for set and then off the back of that wait for the opps to break, When its torrential rain its stop start and the big fellas love it. Negates the dogs strength. Plus we are missing 9 players but even with a full squad I reckon we would of struggled

Galvin on the ball half with a good short kicking game, Burton a half that picks and chooses his moments and has a good long kicking game. The way the dogs play Galvin can do everything Sexton can do + so much more at a higher quality. I don't know why it's so hard for people to see this working.

End of the day you reap what you sowed Galvin he will get what he deserves

Bulldogs just makes no sense honestly. Bailey Hayward is levels above Galvin has so far shown way more to be honest. Sexton to knights?

Galvin is a good player, but overrated.

Sexton is a one-trick pony. Good player, but for him to do well he needs a big, dominant forward pack. Dogs like having a more mobile pack, for that to kick you needs halves that can create but also run and pointscore. That's not Sexyboy's thing.
