Ziggy thinks it will be really nice doghouse.
ОтветитьDon't bend the rose back too much or you may snap the canes lower down. You can absolutely attach it to a cheap garden trellis and then just lean it back onto something temporarily. Ask the masons to embed strong stainless hooks, then use tension wires for the rose to be reattached.
ОтветитьThe roses are smiling against your beautiful coach house. Just so beautiful.
ОтветитьThose old radiator/heaters could make for special upcycled side tables with a marble slab on top 🤩🙌🏼
ОтветитьThat rose bush is stupendous! I hope you can save it.
ОтветитьI love how Ziggy thinks he is the main character of the show, well he is really!
ОтветитьZiggy acting like he didn't do anything wrong when he actually scared 70K viewers and his pawrents. (T_T)
ОтветитьNooo, please, no rodent pooh tiles. I will unsub then! Ffs gross!!! & disown my Frenchie ancestors hauis !😮
ОтветитьThis coach house renovation series is a notch more interesting than the chateau because of 3 reasons IMO
1) It is a creative redesign of the space as opposed to the chateau which has a legacy residential design
2) Philip's well honed video editing given the vast expertise gained in the past years
3) The careful steps of planning each small step (plumbing, electric, carpentry), not to mention the sprinkles of the oh-so-natural hilarious banter between Benoît and Philip.
I saw Ziggy step onto the window sill and my heart stopped! Everything is looking good.
ОтветитьGet a dremmel drill
ОтветитьPlug sockets are a relatively inexpensive thing to add. Depending on the breaker box, try to have as many as you can. I can really see that this beautiful historical building is going to be amazing. Lots of reasons, because you both work so dang hard, and because you both are very creative and artistic. I think as long as Ziggy doesn't give you bombastic side-eye, you're on the right track. 😊
edit: hey guys I looked up the best way to get mortar off terracotta tiles, it said to soak them in a vinegar and water solution, as that will break down the mortar and its connection to the tile without damaging the tile.
Soak a couple buckets full of tiles in water then remove the mortar.
ОтветитьHave you seen the light switches Dan Preston put in they are wireless no wires just put into a hole in the wall, amazing idea maybe helpful for you.
ОтветитьCheck with Michael Petherick. He cleaned. Bunch of tiles.
ОтветитьIf you have a snow shovel, it may make your job of cleaning up a little easier. Less taxing on your back.
ОтветитьAmazing job done by the Masons and you both God bless!
ОтветитьI love your videos, except for the music, it makes you so very nervous,
ОтветитьSeriously impressive rendering😁
ОтветитьYou can also get wireless switches etc
ОтветитьYou can also submerge the tiles in water. It takes a few days for the grout to soften, making it easier to clean.
ОтветитьGreat achievement Anna!
ОтветитьThose bits are called “shutter dogs”. Keep them!
ОтветитьPlease be careful, the old age of these materials is toxic to us. Wear masks. It’s not worth the future health consequences. Aspestos, etc
ОтветитьLove watching the craftsmanship of those gents doing the plastering….simple tools with experience makes for beautiful results
ОтветитьYou shouldn't let Ziggy around any mouse or rat droppings, they can cause serious illness. Great job on the coach house. 😊
ОтветитьFor your roses on the facade might I suggest you you a screw-in eye hook and attach the screw eye to the underside of the roof facade and attach a thin wire down to either a screw eye about 4’ from the ground or a stake just behind the rose bush this give something for roses to attach to with them having to attach themselves to your newly restored facade
ОтветитьOmg those roses are so beautiful! I agree a trellis would be good to support them as they climb.
ОтветитьThe pink roses are postcard Perfect.💗🌸🌺🌸🩷 Perhaps inspiration for another wallpaper design Anna😊
ОтветитьI loved watching the masons, and their supervisor is very handsome! The project is looking beautiful!
ОтветитьHow about making a small incision between the bricks and fixing a rust free metal piece in the slot with a hole on which you can attach a rope to keep the roses against the wall…
ОтветитьNo extension cord’s. It is a safety issue. Could start fire. Please NO EXTENSION CORD’S!
ОтветитьYou need lots of power outlets… future proof
ОтветитьWhy not use bluetooth light switches. No cables required.
ОтветитьDan on his chateau has put up light switches that are wiles run
ОтветитьAnna + Tiles = MAGIC. Philipp, just let the girl clean her tiles! 😂
ОтветитьHere in Florida the code calls for receptacles every 6 ft.
ОтветитьYou always end up with more stuff to plug in than you think—esp in an office
ОтветитьZiggy is a very 'regal' looking dog when he wants to be.
ОтветитьYou could ask the masons how to attach something to the wall for the roses—they probably know how to do it without hurting it
ОтветитьOMG, that was hilarious!! Ziggy provided THE best comic relief ever…. I was rolling laughing so hard. You actually made my eyes water. The funniest part was him afterwards posing like an angel, as if to say, “see, I didn’t do anything“. Oh Gosh, that was good… I really needed that laugh - thank you. I now have strength again to get up and finish my task.
Plastering is coming along great. I’m happy for you that it’s getting done so beautifully by experienced experts.
CHEERS - Enjoy
Can you have some small brackets or eye hooks installed and then rendered around for your roses?
ОтветитьZiggy is so handsome! I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback who is also very handsome.
ОтветитьHope all the tiles clean as good as that one. The outside is looking great
ОтветитьI will never recover from the trauma of watching what I thought was Ziggy jumping to his death. The way I gasped.
ОтветитьAgo old craftsmanship is a joy to behold!
ОтветитьMy husband and I chipped the mortar from our pool tiles several years ago. There were 300 of them and it took us four months of weekends, but it was incredibly satisfying when we were able to reuse them for the replastered pool. Definitely wear eye protection when you tackle the project, because the mortar sometimes splinters and ricochets.
ОтветитьThe stone masons are artists. They did a fantastic job.
ОтветитьYour ambition is fantastic I hope you will be successful with all the renovations
