Fishing Knots: How To Tie A Blood Knot

I am in an outdoor ed class and are getting graded on these for some reason so thankfully this video was straight forward, probably the most complex knot out of the ones I need to know but the details on where to pinch as your tying the knot made it the quickest one to learn. Thanks

It's so cool doing all this same shit over and over until my fucking fishing time is gone because everytime my fucking knot just does not sinch, it just slips out. I'm gonna end up fishing with a fucking 45 and dynamite next time this stupid fucking knot magically doesn't work for me.

Waste of time with fluorocarbon and braid. Doesn't work.

Looks like a good knot to tie a 10 pound monofilament leader to 10 braid. It's probably unnecessary to use the double uni or FG for small diameter lines.

Your Blood Knot Demo: Clear, concise.
Many people demonstrating Knot tying should use this video as a guide. They many Times, have a light color background; obscure view with hands , fingers, and preform the task to fast.

This fishermans bend is 50% strong, very simple, and often easy to untie. It is best when both ropes are equal in size.

Since these ropes are unequal in size, the double sheet bend is stronger.

If you want a very strong permanent bend for equal size ropes, try the blood knot bend with at least four turns. It is a jamming knot.

Any advice for doing this in the wind with clear 10lb mono to mono thanks.
