My oldest son has Tourette’s. He used to actively use it to his advantage or for his own amusement. He’s an adult now, but he probably still does. For example, he doesn’t like someone? Stands on a table in the cafeteria and loudly calls them vulgar names. Thinks it’s funny to irritate everyone around him? Picks the most annoying movement/vocalization and does it over and over until it becomes a tic so that he “can’t help it”. He’s a turd…with my unfortunate sense of humor.

I love how Tom talk to his audience like they are little kids.

I got Tourette’s at age 11. The swearing thing doesn’t happen a lot. The tics, twitches, blinking, little sounds are what I had. Cannabis has had me off of meds since 2001

I hesitate to label myself as disabled but I definitely am. I had heart failure and they had to put a machine inside my heart called an LVAD you can look it up if curios. But after I recovered to a level that I can get around the house my Xbox friends started blasting me and some of the insults are hilarious. One of the boys said I’m bologna stark. That one king of became a meme amongst us. I’m typing this to say if you are going through something look for the funny it helps on the days you wanna feel sorry for yourself.
