Moral of the story: buy a good quality used car with good customer satisfaction ratings and low mileage (ideally still under warranty) if you're trying to spend $50K+ on a vehicle and get the most value for your money.

Drove a 2025 BMW X1 recently which is the same SAV as the X2 with the exception of the fast back rear roofline. I found it to be a very fun vehicle to drive, mine was the standard engine model not the M Sport version which you might have driven and shown in this video. I did not like the fact that it was touch screen without the usual iDrive control knob and that it was a transverse front drive platform rather than the usual BMW longitudinal rear wheel drive platform. As with all BMW’s though, if your in a hurry to get somewhere, a BMW is what you want to be driving. I prefer the 3 series and up because I think BMW relies upon Mini mechanicals for the X1, X2 and 2 series sedans. BMW 3 series is a great vehicle to own if you have the ability to maintain it if you keep it out of the 4 year 50,000 mile warranty. Otherwise keep it until the factory warranty ends or put an extended warranty on it. They are great cars and safe as well.

I bought my BMW X3 new and had it serviced on schedule by the dealer. The back differential started leaking at 80,000 miles and the front differential failed at 85,000 miles. Worst car I ever owned.

Same old same old video.
Yeah your channel is very very biased have said it before, and I will keep saying it stop being biased.
So mr (car care) your glorious glorified Lexus. The lx600 and gx550. Or tundra, Tacoma. I don’t even want to talk about Honda 😂. Or Subaru 😂. So engines blowing up on the lx gx tundra is a very good reliable thing right? Also the transmission blowing in the new Tacoma is a good thing right?. Stop the hate on Nissan./ Infiniti. It’s funny despite your efforts to stop people from buying Range Rover, Mercedes. And others people are still buying them Because is what people like .

Infiniti gehört da nicht hin.
Den kann man empfehlen.
Die Motoren,Getriebe und
die Technik halten ewig.
Audi und VW hätte dazu
gehört,den Schrott kann
keiner empfehlen.

We should be clear as you can get a lot of these vehicles as CPO cars with very low miles at a great price. You let someone else take the initial hit on price.
The BMW on the list should be considered as separate from the larger BMW brand which has elevated its reliability considerably over the last 7 years.

Worked with a guy that had a Range Rover and he was driving down the freeway here in So Cal. and his engine failure light came on and his Rover died. He was able to pull over to the side of the freeway. The dealer wound up totaling it out after 2 months at the dealer. Engine seized for no apparent reason! Of course they sold him a new one! I just laughed and thought how much his ego cost him! Terrible reliability! 😊

Years ago, when I worked in the automotive industry it was well known that certain magazine wrote glowing reviews of the vehicles that advertised with them. Also, I never even look at these types of magazines for automotive information or their websites. Even the awards given out are pretty suspect, some of them are outright purchased over and under the table. When a vehicle is touting all of its awards, I want to know what they are and who gave them to them. You need to be cautious when buying a vehicle, marketing is more about lying creatively than being honest.

Mercedes EQS and EQE sedan and SUV actually has probably the nicest interior and technology in the segment. As well as the longest ranges relative to its competition. For example, in 2022, the EQS 450+ did over 420 miles. They are expensive but on the Used market especially if you get a CPO I would do it. A lot of people dislike the styling, but thats subjective. They have excellent lease rates…..
