thanks, nice video
ОтветитьDefinitely a cool product, I’ve enjoyed mine a lot.
ОтветитьI've never seen these in real... But I am intrigued..
Great video as always!
PS: Nevermind. I saw those on your first videos. XD
Just a few more days until the beam ships!
ОтветитьHey just found your channel today. I love the format: short, sweet, and right to the point. I ended up watching reviews of things that I don’t even want buy. Keep it up.
Ответитьdid you try the beam with a computer, and if so, did you try to change resolution for more space than 1080p, and if so did it work and did the result is usable (1440p ? more ?)
ОтветитьAs a long time user of the xReal Air's myself, I can honestly say its one of the best tech purchases Ive made in a long time, and like many others have said, yes, is one of the best accessories for my Steam Deck, with a few caveats (simultaneous charging and usage being one of them....use the Red Dragon adapter).
That said, they are about to get a lot more usefull and usable once I get my hands on the Beam! 3-DOF in your pocket on ANY device?! Yes please!
Some added info,
There also seems to be another Windows based solution for XR called GingerXR. I havent tried it yet, but Ive see a few videos with it running successfully. Not sure all the caveats to this approach either. Hopefully Nebula Windows will be a smooth experience once it finally launches...whenever that is.
Nebula App is pretty much dead to me.
I ordered these the day of the Apple Vision Pro demo… I started searching for alternatives. I found XReal for the headset and the Mudra Band for pretty much the same gestures displayed with the AVP.
When I researched Xreal I knew that the Beam would be the thing that sold me on the product. Based on the reviews back then it seemed to solve the limitations of the glasses.
I was impatient and ordered the glasses outside of the Beam bundle package (for less than $500). I figured if I didn’t like the headset at all I’d just return it.
I was surprised, because even with its limitations (a screen that follows you all around) it was still a pretty cool concept. My use case has been using it to augment my phone the same way my AirPods Pro’s do. It also made Apple Gaming and Mobile gaming in general finally make sense to me. First thing I did was download Streets of Rage IV and get a controller.
These are 100% an entry level alternative to the Apple Vision Pro for me. My main thing was having a giant screen that I could take with me EVERYWHERE I went. Problem solved.
At less than $500 for the Glasses and Beam vs $3499. I am more than willing to consider purchasing a new one of these as the company grows the product. They’ve also been making strides via Firmware updates. The latest is a 120hz update to the glasses.
What’ll sink or swim this product is the Beam though, that’s where the rubber meets the road.
I may end up buying the Beam only because without it the Nreal glasses are sitting in a drawer
ОтветитьHi! Have you heard anything about alternatives to Xreal like Viture xr or Dream Glasses?
Ответитьplease do an update when you get the Xreal beam accessory?
Ответитьsubbed
ОтветитьWaiting on my Beam. Really impressed with the crispness of the 1080P screen. Hope they add a Plex and/or Jellyfin app
ОтветитьThannk you so much for taking a critical viewpoint.
ОтветитьThat's the difference between a paid rebiew and an honest review that claims these glasses will transport you to another world. 😂
Ответитьi have these and wanted to truly know how these stood the glasses displays are very saturated and less color accurate than samsungs vivid mode the brightness leaves more to be desired the beams smooth follow would be more understandable if on different modes or depths that it would cut off the screen given the processing but even it is default it is not smooth and would probably just be better just going wired making the screen 300 inches cuts parts of it off so it's effectively a zoom in. the brightness leaves more to be desired my verdict is i might just return it and get the viture because it's as bright as the s23u not over saturated and has better sound
Ответитьhow well does it work with windows, with and without the beam? does it work well with adobe apps and office suite?
Ответитьthe background music hurts!!!
ОтветитьWhat do you think about the vitual one
ОтветитьReviewers should know everything about the device and be truthful. I feel like one bix is checked.
ОтветитьPeople burn money nowadays for anything, its a over priced screen.
ОтветитьMy glasses were good now it keeps losing connection, only had it two months. Buyer beware
Ответитьafter having my air's (without the beam still need to get one another day) i think there use case is has a monitor (main display) and mainly for movies and reading/gaming and then have your real display for small stuff or has a second monitor where u can have things like discord and a window for the browser and maybe task manager and some light stuff or coding cheat sheets for copy pasting long strings without having to type them (not going to go more into the coding aspect where imo these shine)
for me these are like a massive curved display at the desk without worry for space or a theatre setup in bed and travel and productivity tasks not much more but for me thats all they need to do and all i wanted out of them
Thank you
ОтветитьLenovo Legion Go will get it's own glasses, nobody really said much about them yet.
ОтветитьThanks for the honest review. The 2nd gen just came out as well but only available in China for now. I wonder how’s your experience with gaming on it compared to the original SD or Ally screen and how’s the latency?
ОтветитьAre the xreal air with beam worth buying for watching videos/movies and surfing the net?Thankyou!
ОтветитьEnjoyed the video. I also liked the added "NOBODY" sponsor. I just bought the Viture and trying to decide if I want to try the Xreal or Rokid next. Thanks again.
ОтветитьThank You for review, finally some real life not sponsored opinion. Sadly real AR require big investment in software
ОтветитьBrother, there are two micro oled displays in these air glasses, so in both the front side displays will be single or different, I don't know.
ОтветитьHow do these compare with the rokid airs?
Ответитьi love the segway to your sponsors lol
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this video!
ОтветитьRokid is goofie looking, just ugly glasses in my opinion. Imagine rokid on your face, you will instantly look goofie, hahaha
ОтветитьDid they released the nebula app for windows or they are still trying to? I am planning to buy it because of this feature.
Ответитьuse it with a samsung dex and you will have a different experience
ОтветитьCan you wear them as regular sunglasses until you turn them on to use
Ответитьwindows handheld?
ОтветитьMixed reality is not the same as augmented reality!
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьNice Review, ❤
Ответитьbro i was not expecting that laugh when you showed the dude on the bench next to his dog lmao. you got my sub
ОтветитьMines are coming today and I can’t wait I’m going to have to get the beam later but I’m still excited but I have one question how is it without the beam
ОтветитьHow does this connect to a PC or a Nintendo switch or an android phone? Is it not wireless? How do you use it in public then or in your car if there was no WiFi. How does this compare to viture?
Both xreal and virtue require some software? Do they offer warranty? Hows customer service?
Sponsor segment was great 😂 wandered in for the air glasses review, nice work.
