The voice actor for Sokolov is the same voice actor for Dr. Mindbender from the original GI Joe series. Sokolov even looks like Mindbender.

Wait a second. The Shagohod was intended to be a tank capable of launching a nuclear missile from anywhere, regardless of the Terrain. But it needs something like a runway to do so? Isn't this a bit dumb?

It was always a mistake to have Hayter voice Big Boss..as much as MGS 3 is a masterpiece I just Don enjoy his voice acting here. And some parts of the excellent Peace Walker, which IMO, should have kept the MGS 5 title, David's voice work is satire/parody bad.
Also they should have maybe gotten Keifer to do a few more lines... As great as he us as Venom, theres too little of him.

The Railgun was not invented at the time. It would make sense to use the Shagohod itself as a catapult.

I'm not an expert on ICBMs, so I don't think I'm qualified to talk about how impractical the Shagohod is as an ICBM platform, but DAMN if that thing's not menacing as all Hell.

To be honest, it would've been much cooler if the Shagohod was just simply more mobile, as the mobile ICBM carriers we have even today are way too slow and heavy to go remotely anywhere, the Shagohod is not only a giant tank and could go anywhere, it could launch a nuclear missile upon demand, making it able to deploy said missile anywhere in the world.

But this is pretty cool, too. Fast tank.
