I’m glad that people genuinely support this stuff im for sure gonna try and do this with my buddies

I am not a roleplayer but at some time i played in an RP/PVP server and that was the most amount of fun i have ever had in the game, RP adds a lot of depth to the game and the best thing is that you won't see silly names or silly actions by other players, for me i roleplayed as a imperial guard to a sith lord :D

I still don't understand how this works, is this all just messaging and describing a situation, or are there proper interactions and dealings like fighting and hiring or something else?

My sith Inquisitor, Ilara Argus-Thul, was born a Thul noble. She was born with a birth defect where her eyes don't open. Her parents smand most around her assume she's a miraluka. When my bounty hunter worked for Ilara's parents, ilara was given to my bounty hunter as a baby. My bounty hunter is a togruta and created clan Argus. Ilara was later discovered as a force snesitive when my bounty hunter worked for a sith. Then the sith inquisitor class starts after she was trained well enough.

Role playing is my fav part of swtor

I've RPd for years in ESO and GW2. I am really excited to try out some SWTOR RP. I plan on making my RP characters and using them to achieve Legendary player status one by one while focusing on my main in gameplay and RP. I love lore-heavy settings for it like SWTOR. I'll have to play some before I jump into it, I'm sure, to understand all the planets and references everyone is making. But I am very excited to try! RP lasted me 2.5 years in ESO. 1 year in GW2. I think SWTOR would be another game where I can really extend my experience by RPing a lot!

idk how people enjoy rp in a game that doesnt have any systems in place to create your own adventure like tapletop Rpgs. To each their own though

I preffer IG RP. Mostly on strongholds though. Its easier to follow when the regular chat isnt bursting over yourself...
Around a year ago i restarted RP with a pal, now its a whole Guild with Rep Counterpart aswell....It reignited my Love for SWtoR

This instantly gave me the idea to open a guild with my bf and my friend to try to become a contract company or something. Players can come do tasks for us and then get paid for it, and eventually they can buy things from us at a better price than the player market or the ingame market

I personally roleplay through Voice Chat. It is much easier on your fingers, and might get you to acting school.

Have you ever done any TTRPGS. D&D, Pathfinder, etc

I roleplay as my own throughout the story of my class character with my travel experiences buddies / companions. P. S. I need to figure out how to send my chat message out; I haven't figure out that yet on an AZERTY keyboard! 😩

I still don't get it but okay. Maybe it's because I don't have friends playing with me.

I'm curious how Roleplay works for sith players, wouldn't some people be quite rude and in character, how does the server sperate role play from toxicity?

For some reason I only have access to five servers, and none of them are these recommended ones.

I remember the massive roleplay community before the game was released way back in like 2010, all had our own websites and chat boxes and identities. Miss those days.

I would be more inclined to roleplay if there was less guilds that make you start all the way at the academy. Like I don’t mind starting from the bottom but i mean..I could just be an apprentice

I have just discovered your channel here Swtorista and I am really enjoying your videos. I have played for years and I have built up a back story combining all 16 Toons that I am currently running. That is a "One of Each" approach - I have a Toon for playing every class. All of them over lvl 50 now and many of them at least lvl 60. (And I only started one at lvl 65 in the Eternal Throne Expansion.) So my real comment here is that I've been "Role Playing" with my Toons from the beginning, creating their back stories as I went, and combining their talents into a single "Agency" working together across the Republic and Empire realms. Yes, I mostly play as a Lone Wolf, and always play PVE, I don't usually like to interact with others - it takes me out of my game. My entire "Role Play" is in my own head - creating my own Star Wars Universe "Movies" as it were. But I am learning here that I may want to expand my universe a little to include others. (I have some outfits that I want to share in the 'Fashion Shows' you host - that looks fun.) I'm like Grogu; I may have some great powers - but I'm still just a Noob - and learning how to interact with the Universe around me.

Voice chat should be implemented after sooooo many years for more RP immersion o.O<3

How often should I use the /e command?

Anyone do Swtor RP via VO-IP? I think text RP is good for stuff like Journal entries but i'd prefer using voice for 1-on-1 interactions.

while i dont hate rp players, i hate their guild because they almost always follow a similar format for the name, the names are almost always unoriginal and they are always spammed in general chat when other people are having a conversation

Never played imp agent. But I’m hoping to start one. But the whole Sis thing scares me. Do you have to join the sis as an agent or is there another path?

i did Rp with my Juggernaut altough he wasnt really alive. There are some Armor Sets that look like you are a fully mechanical armoured up A.I, and thats what i did. "A Imperial Protector" created to defend Korriban from Intruders hunting them down and "Interrogate" them. Meeting everySith be it Darth or a Accolyte on the Planet my Programming demands bowing to them as long as no one betray´s Korriban.
