BEST TIP: So I keep screwing up the simple Q + E combo

HOW TO DO IT LIKE 100% OF TIME: I Go to settings > Hot keys > Cast the pressed spell upon pressing another spell. It should be easier to do now. Also, instead of casting Q and then quick placing the E afterwards, what you can also do is just E, then press q on the ignite barrel very fast. Thumbs up so everyone can see.

So when someone asks you the evidence of League being so saturated with damage, just look at Gangplank plays with Essence Reaver and Prowler's. It is so high of AD that he solo kill'd a full armor Malphite.

If you can use gangplank correctly, he's really scary

was main gp since before rework, there are no barrel back then
can't play him anymore
i quit cuz monkey brain and slow reaction can't execute properly
he's a lot stronger but req on mechanic
just like how op is new irelia, i can't play anymore somehow

Also me: can't do a shit with gankplank bc enemy Kassa with 2 items less oneshots me like it's nothing

I've been a GP main since the rework. Here's some tips if you guys face a GP: Use Urgot. Don't think that GP can escape your ult, it's just a small prob and you just have to make him use W before ulting. Urgot can interupt GP's barrel combo just by pressing W. If you can't play Urgot, then there're still a lot of champs that can HARD COUNTER GP, such as Renekton, Yorick, Riven, Qqtrox,... as long as they have at least 2 CC ability, or simply have strong sustain and healing.
P/s: If you want to practice GP, don't go for the prowler, take galeforce instead bc of the 20% crit, gap close (same as prowler), and simply better for nuking someone. Prowler is a good choice, but trust me, without the crit, the damage of the barrel is just a bit more than his auto attack

Important tips overlooked. His W.

The W has a 0.25s time and doesn't activate until the cast time is completed.

Often you should be pressing W before the enemy even hits you with CC.

The W also heals % missing health.
If you don't have the mana, save your W until you're lower on health to heal more total.

Which order should you apply heals?
W -> biscuits -> corrupting potion

Finally. Your W removes effects including:
Mordekaiser Ult.
Exhaust (Slow only)
Nocturne ult vision denial
Lilia/Zoe DROWSY
Silence/Polymorph/Disarm/Charm/Fear
Graves W/Quinn Q. You cannot see enemies but it lets you see projectiles
Nami W is removed completely, no CC is left
Sett R entirely removed and 0 damage dealt if you are quick enough
Tahm Kench R. (This actually isn't worth sometimes, as it still damages you)
Urgot R
Warwick R, it damages you, but Warwick cannot move, but you can.
Malzahar R. You take damage, but it removes the suppress AND the magic resist debuff
