Had I not been asked to judge nor saw the effect, I'd not have detected any variance. Prompted, the variance is very minute indeed. The word "shop" is overemphasized and ".com" is a bit extended. Completely believeable overall.

Preface… I know it’s AI generated so my conclusion is biased.
Sounds very close, to me the rate and pauses seem off. Also it definitely doesn’t sound like your normal microphone, it’s a bit thin and has more compression on the ai voice. But hey what do I know… it’s still very very good. I use ElevenLabs to read long documents and books, to me it’s the best out there…

sounds great, although it doesn't have the "human" tonal inflections - that being said if you didn't let us know I'd say 99.9% of all of us would have just listened and thought it was you.

I just ran one of your videos after listening to the AI. It sounds very similar but I thought the AI version is in a very slightly higher register. I think your real life deeper tones aren't found in this AI version.

The voice sounds right, but the inflection is off. If you were one of my in life friends I'd be heading for your place with a 6 pack thinking something is wrong because it feels like a sad version of your speech.

Having listened to you for decades, it's easy to spot that it's an AI fake... however, it's damn close... there are only a few points where the AIness shows through... but it's actually really good.

I would have to say that at a quick listen it might pass. It sounds like you but my gut keeps telling me something that there are certain phrases and pronunciations that are just a bit "off".

Lipsync is not good but I'm very sensitive to this and that's why I hate dubbed movies so much.
The voice itself is scary good. Scary times now that one can no longer have confidence in any video or radio transmission with a person you know well. Secret codewords and answers options in some situations, but AI is a societal big bang event

To be honest, yes, listening carefully one can hear that it is not the normal voice played through the usual equipment. I'd be hard pressed to say if it were an artificial voice, or a normal voice altered in some way. N's D's and O's sound most artificial. Long A's ("Dave") also. Note- listening to it a second time, it was already more difficult to identify it as generated. Habituation seems to happen very quickly.

Soundwise it is uncanningly close, the delivery is different though. If I werent paying attention I could've been fooled.

In general it sounds pretty good - BUT - I think some of your natural dips into you lower voice range got skipped (general tone is higher than you generally present.) If there were more drops, which it does more of toward the end, it would be much more difficult to spot.

I can tell something is off, but I don't think I would notice if you didn't say anything.

I'm tempted to do a comparison of the real voice vs AI using something like Audacity. But the AI sounds very believable.

Computer generated voice is very good, the biggest tell for me is just that the script is always a bit robotic, the generator doesn't quite get the pauses or vocal tics right.

It definitively sounds off, but not enough that if you didn't mention it I would have noticed.

Now the kicker would ofc be that you lied and this is actually not AI generated but just a social experiment.

It's very subtly off. Very close, and if I wasn't specifically listening to it I would probably not have realized it for the first few minutes.

That is excellent with your speaking style and cadence and inflections. Towards the end where "you" talk about what is coming up next, it lacks an enthusiastic upspeak that I usually hear from you (is that a real word or did I just make that up?)

90-95% completely undetectable. Except when it tried to do your tone variation when answer a question or in this case acknowledge that the voice is ai. However I don't believe that the minor differences would be noted by anyone who wasn't legitimately looking for it.

I having a member for about a month and without the real face to match. Just the audio is perfectly believable. It does sounds a bit like if you had a cold or sore throat

Pretty scary and concerning. Personally, knowing that it's fake, I'd say it sounds just slightly off. The real giveaway that speech was AI generated however, isn't usually the tone, rather it is the simple mistakes such as: errors in pronunciation of simple words or phrases, or pauses which occur in the wrong place ... mistakes which a native speaker would never make, especially when the speech seems nearly perfect otherwise.

This voice is so authentic and believable I have already sent it $500 in Best Buy gift certificates

its the lack of different hz. it sounds like one steady hz level. no breaks just constant steady flow.

Its incredibly obvious. Sometimes I have to sit there and think about it, but rhis isnt one of those times.
