Thank you for all your content man, have a blessed day! 🙏
ОтветитьCarroll was my introduction to magick, bought Liber Null/Psychonaut a long time ago.
Was super happy to get this and dig in!
aannnnnd bought. :] Thanks Denis!
ОтветитьThank you for the review!! I’m definitely getting this book for myself
ОтветитьI order this on pre order and got it last week ^^
ОтветитьThanks Dennis for pointing out another great resource. Fascinating… 🧐
ОтветитьI have read the Liber Null and Psychonaut, Liber Kaos and the Octavo from him. Carroll was the one, who inspired me to not chase the illusory ghost of past, but embrace my thoughts and create new from the scraps of old tradition - and more.
ОтветитьI ordered it in the pre-order phase and it still hasn't arrived (in my country, Amazon is CHAOS for books 😝). I just cancelled it and made a new order...
ОтветитьI am going to look at it.
ОтветитьGreat book , reading it now and enjoying it. Julian Vayne is always a pleasure reading, one of those people that I can listen talking for hours and never getting tired .
ОтветитьI just bought this; good reading so far.
ОтветитьThank you 🙏🏽
ОтветитьThis one really made my ears prick up! That's an impressive list of contributors. Whenever there's a series of essays on the systems of occult thinking it tends to be fascinating. I like this style of magick, I'm still exploring it, so this is one I'm definitely picking up. Your review might be short but it covered everything I need to know to make up my mind, thank you 🙏
ОтветитьThank you Denis for the wonderful review! I have been enjoying reading everyone else's essays as well 😊
ОтветитьVery interesting! I am going to order this book now
ОтветитьI'm deep diving into Carl Jung at the moment. I think what some call magic is actually quite a natural thing when you see yourself as more than just your body. Many paths to the same goal.
ОтветитьIt’s not a book boy Peter J. Carroll. It’s a book of 15 essays from different magicians.
ОтветитьI bought a copy, and most of it is over my head. I have to read Liber Null and Psychonaut instead.
ОтветитьSeems quite interesting, thank you!
ОтветитьHello friend. I'm here requesting you make more Inner Palace videos. Pretty please? ❤
ОтветитьOoh I've been waiting on this one.
ОтветитьPeter was my occult baptism. I moved away since but always showed my respect for opening the door.
ОтветитьNeed this!!!!!
ОтветитьHi Fish :) I wonder if you or yours know of, or remember, an occultist who was uploading around five years ago - yes, this is a long shot...
Male, Caucasian, American, 25 - 35 yrs old; uploaded several long-form explications on the Golden Dawn, possibly also Rosicrucianism, one of which included a detailed explanation of the LBRP. He was full-body visible in what seemed to be his living room, and spoke passionately and knowledgeably, though I think his subscriber base was maybe, a thousand? I caught one of his more recent uploads, in which he presented quite differently - appeared less well-kempt, in an armchair surrounded by many items. A much briefer upload.
Thank you for considering this request - I have been wanting to revisit his lectures, and cannot find them. I would be very grateful if anyone has suggestions. Thank you also for your excellent knowledge shared so generously.
Fascinating book so far. The only thing im torn on, is its complete rejection of unity and a "single self" and the claim that there is no objective truth at all. Pagan gods and Yekidah/The one Identity/Kether can coexist of course, there is not only one path, but spirituality doesn't make sense to me without the union of opposites and total unity, in qabalah this is expressed as the concept of emanating from total unity/kether.
I love chaos magick in many ways, its artistic, its almost like msuic theory for magick, and once you understand how it works you can create your own composition rather than simply playing paint-by-number in what others give you in grimoires. But the "everything is permitted", "nothing is real" and almost atheism at parts of its philosophy makes me wonder if its missing something for me.
About to buy this. Ivy The Occultist is amazing. Great review Denis.
