I wonder what the cost is for this. 20k? 60k? Pretty crazy how this system works.
ОтветитьInclude the price of the work.
ОтветитьThis is good
Ответитьthank you for these videos. have cabin in the Poconos that I need to do a lot of work on, thank you.
ОтветитьGlad to see that these hard workers are still getting the people their high quality JoJ after all these years.
ОтветитьB. S. alert .....there is no way 50 percent of air in the house comes from the crawlspace..... I'm going to need to see some certified test results.
ОтветитьWhat an effective and unique way to advertise. Props to the Groundworks marketing team, this is the way!
ОтветитьGreat show, but I think that we all want to know what will be the total cost for something like this.
ОтветитьWhy did the sleeve get cut? Why are you using two ppl to push piers? Move the remote closer to the hole and one guy can push the pipe.
ОтветитьReally disappointed to see Mike promoting this as quality work. I hope they do another video with Mike showing everyone the service calls in a few years. Trenches not dug deep enough, system installed too high and tight against the block, system ran around the furnace instead of behind it, completely covered up the block bowed out instead of repairing the huge gaps, and more. When a company installs 4’ of “vapor barrier” they are hiding the real problems from the next homeowner. They didn’t install waterproofing, they installed drains with exposed grates.
ОтветитьEvery ones is the owner but im sure if you do good work its for groundworks and if you do bad your on your own
Ответитьlove the work these guys are doing, that being said this house def did not need those push piers
ОтветитьI have serious issues with my foundation. Allegedly, the previous owner had something injected under the floor. There are holes drilled into the hallway floor. How can I tell if anything was injected under the floor to level the foundation? Thank you
ОтветитьMiM RoR
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьWhat was the bottom line bill?
ОтветитьShouldn't houses be built on a better foundation. Like compressed crusher dust/crushed stone.
ОтветитьAs a man who has done this for a living in the past. I can say that this video doesn’t even touch on how hard this job can be!! Hats off to everyone who does this work
ОтветитьAmazing work Groundworks keep up the good work
ОтветитьLeave it to Mike Rowe to get me to watch ads 😅😂
ОтветитьIs this what is called "re-piering a house" or is it just firming up the founadtion?
ОтветитьMan get out of the way. Nobody getting kicks out of this except mike and his payday from the show. No one doing this work is stoked to be doing it. You can only glorify it so much man before you end up the one drawing the biggest payday by standing in the way and acting like you providing a service.
ОтветитьMike Rowe for president!!!
ОтветитьMike, stop helping...it's making me feel so friggin old watching you get winded.
ОтветитьI'm confused, if they're putting in segments of piping at predetermined lengths, won't those pipes shift over time with the water causing the foundation cleat to come off?
Ответить5200 views and 14 comments (including mine) as of 9/2/24, Mike just posted the link on his facebook page.
ОтветитьThis is the way it is done, correctly!
ОтветитьYou guys basically got a bespoke dirty jobs episode
ОтветитьGroundwork’s thanks for everything you do 🎉
ОтветитьI love anything that has Mike Rowe in it!!!❤
ОтветитьGreat show!
ОтветитьGroundworks installer here, let's go 👊🏻
ОтветитьLET'S GO MICAH!!!
Ответитьmiss Dirty Jobs!
Ответить"Safety first." "Top three for sure" Nice reference to Safety Third!
ОтветитьLeave it to Mike Rowe to make an infomercial into informative entertainment.
ОтветитьToo much like work for a DIYer. Well done mike. Now go soak in a hot tub.
ОтветитьGreat episode! When the gentleman said most homeowners have never been in their crawl space, I would guess he's right. Personally, I see it as something like entering into Indiana Jones Temple of Doom territory. 😦 Gah!!!!!
