In real history, LIshi Min was horribly defeated by Tibetan army. I wish one day, all Chinese can learn and read the real History of China.

Movie is very slow and the story is very boring and it is a clear example of how treacherous Chinese had been. "Kings are born with wars and die in joys." It was Sima (the treacherous) who indeed is the culprit. There is no telling how many innocent and loyal people he massacred using his official power, just for his own madness. Though he didn't live to taste the evil fruits his efforts, instead his family and lineage got wiped out later. This shows Chinese are all evil.

Amazing. Today king almost like a puppet while politicians run the country as they please

Als General der Sui-Dynastie schlug Li Yuan 615/16 einige dieser Bauernaufstände nieder. Sein Sohn Li Shimin half 615 dem Sui-Kaiser Yang Di bei einem plötzlichen Angriff des Türkenkhans Shibi (reg. 609–621) während einer Inspektionsreise. Schließlich wurde Li Yuan zum Statthalter von Taiyuan in Shanxi ernannt (617). Zur gleichen Zeit zog sich der Sui-Kaiser zu einer Vergnügungsreise in den Süden zurück und ließ den rebellischen Norden allein. Das war ein schwerer Fehler.

Es heißt nun, Li Shimin habe seinen unentschlossenen Vater mit einer Haremsintrige zum Aufstand gegen die Sui gezwungen. Wie auch immer: Li Yuan erhob sich, schloss ein Bündnis mit dem Türkenkhan, um sich den Rücken freizuhalten, und schickte dann seine Truppen unter seinen Söhnen Li Jiancheng und Li Shimin zur Hauptstadt Chang’an, die im September 617 besetzt wurde. Dann installierte er zunächst einen Enkel Yang Dis als Marionetten-Kaiser und bestieg (nach der Ermordung Yang Dis) am 18. Juni 618 selbst den Thron.

Damit hatte er aber noch nicht die Macht im Land, denn es gab mehrere Rebellenführer, die um die Oberherrschaft stritten. Also ging er daran, China zu befrieden, was den Tang bis 624/28 gelang.

Well, all Empers along the History, rise and fall. The fall of Tang was sad with Emperor Zhaozong murdered by warlord Zhu Quanzong who latter poisoned the former Emperor son, Emperor Ai who was about 14 years old. So sad.... Good work for all the people who participated in these two beautiful and historically accurate movies.

It's silly and fun. It's falsified history produced by a villain government but is entertaining. They should make more of these and actually intelligent dramas if they know what that is. That one scene where the custom built water channels were empty making the set look like a Chinese restaurant was fun. The histrionics are terrific like no others. I also liked Kings War.
