Hollow Knight [Mantis Lords Boss Fight] - Gameplay PC

My favorite boss battle ever. So beautiful and elegant and just feels like a fair fight.

I beat them on third time, such a fun fight.

I beat the first Mantis Lord exclusively using Sharp Shadow.

my only problem about thsi fight is the first phases rings, thats it

Good now try it on mobile. (Yes i play on my own mobile synced hk, problem?)

You can actually do this fight much later, like after getting the shape of unn, it will make it too easy
(quick focus + shape of unn + anything you'd like)

Easily my favorite boss in the game along with dung defender

I beat them with No damage.. no nail upgrade.. and it looks amazing.. like were dancing

Really cool boss. Doesn't ambush you, lets you train with one enemy before facing two and shows you proper respect along with the entire mantis race. I just wish the bench was closer, lol

I never realised you can wallclimb on the side pillars! But I do wonder why they didn't do any downslashing in this video - that lets you hit twice when they charge and I found it invaluable

This boss was so difficult when I first played the game but now I have mastered godhome (reached absrad in p5 and beaten her in HoG) and this boss fight is easy af

I can see myself liking this fight...if it wasn't for the tedious path getting there after being defeated over and over 😭

The worst part about this fight is the 5 minute journey from the nearest bench to here

I really hope that Silksong has more fights like this and Grimm.

Im currently fighting the Mantis Lords (gonna start my fifth attempt tomorrow) and this might be my favorite fight in Hollow Knight so far.
Like I legitimately look forward to fighting them every time I lose

I beat this in 5 try and my confidence has never been this huge, since i died 30 times in the hornet boss fight, 20 something deaths with dung defender and soul master..... I think I'M FINALLY GETTING GOOD!!

Edit; forgot to mention that this is the greatest boss I've fought!

I died fighting them but I had the glowing womb which killed the last one the same time I died, and It counted as me winning and gave me the achievement 😂

what charms did you use?

This battle took me some tries and I managed beat the second phase on the first try I got to it. It was AWESOME.

I can just about do this one, but two parts still brutalize me. You don't know if the disk will go high or low, it's random. And the razor thin time periods where you can actually heal. You are given zero room for error throughout the whole thing.

I thought this game was easy until this boss

The the most optimal way of killing them but u did ok

Tip: don't heal, Don't shoot and completely ignore top left of the screen.

This game gets better and better.

I died right as i defeated them, respawned on the bench and the entire screen was shaking for about a minute. Came back thinking i'd have fight them again, only for them to bow

This Boss fight had screaming like Hitler in Downfall.

My favourite part of this bossfight is getting there for 5 mins from the nearest bench

perhaps one of the best uses of the "twinned boss' dynamic if you ask me

It's like 80 or 73 hits you have to give them 💀

Bro this boss is so easy,I’m currently on my first attempt at hollow knight and in like 15 attempts I beat him,first learn their attacks,then learn how to doge their attacks and land some hits while dodging

This fight always seems more like a dance rather than actual battle, the music really lends to that as well
