My dog won't walk to heel ever
ОтветитьThanks!!!!
ОтветитьGreat video. Crate training was the best thing I did to help my nervous rescue dog unwind and become calmer and more confident
ОтветитьHey Will that was only 4 what did I miss. Heel, threshold, crate, wait calmly... and?
ОтветитьLiterally requires to be done every day. Seriously folks, my 4 dogs have benefited so much by following Mr Athertons rules for dog training. If I can find the time daily to do this work with 4 dogs, anyone can squeeze in these important steps for their dog(s).
ОтветитьI have had very little luck with my lovely Shannon - after two years....she listens about 50% of the time, if I have a treat. Distractions & Re-Call are kryptonite. 😕
ОтветитьI left England 30 years ago and even though New Zealand is stunning i still love the english countryside. We have a 12 week old Lab😊. Fox red father, golden mother,
ОтветитьIs there ever an age where it’s too late to crate train?
ОтветитьMy boy has such a bad sniffing problem while heeling. All those smells are glorious to him. I've been consistent and he knows a "break" command when he's able to sniff. The fact that he's an intact 16 months old doesn't help, LOL. Just eight more months before he gets neutered. Phew
ОтветитьHi Will, i would love to chat to you more and get your help with my 3 year old Lab x Collie
ОтветитьI feel you on the bridge and water comment. Cooper,my 3 yr old GSD / Austraian shepherd mix thinks he HAS to be first out the back door. The front door he doesnt do that. He understands wait but ignores it at the back door. I try to stay off to the side not to get knocked down. Back to drawing board.
ОтветитьHeal off lead and loose lead
Crate traing in home and car
Threshold manners
Impulse conteol
Place sit wait
Our German Shepherd dog hates going in his crate on the evening as he knows he is going to be left for a long period through the night. So much that he bent the crate door outwards and escaped three times. We now have to put 4 carabiners around the door to stop his getting out
ОтветитьHi
Thank you for all the tips🐾
My sweet Maggie has no impulse control😂
She's a medium size beautiful X wire hair terrier.
Calm & relaxed until she spots another dog or cat...
We've been together a few months, I have no history on her.
She's adapting beautiful to her new surroundings but clearly she was not socialized with other animals.
She's definitely teaching me patience.
🐾🐾thank you again🐾🐾
