Do you think autism, resourcing to autistics and caregivers is an area of concern in public health? a few key areas i see is 1.) inequity across communities and insurance plans, 2.) housing and employment for adult autistic populations and 3.) looking at mental health resources for caregivers

I’m working towards my bachelors in science - Public Health, and would like to further my education to get my masters in either epidemiology or environmental science but would like to work in the public health field first to see if it is a good fit. People keep telling me I won’t be able to get a job because I have no clinical background. Do you find this true? Is it possible to get a public health job with a bachelors degree?

I’m very passionate about prevention of ASCVD and resolving the paradox of ASCVD - it’s one disease that's absolutely presentable yet it remains a major cause of morbidity and mortality in the Western World!

Wonderful video.
I have work experience both as a veterinary technician and a legal assistant. I am working on a Bachelor's degree now (botany with minor in microbiology and hopefully soon also toxicology) and am trying to decide on whether to get a Master's degree later in either Public Health or Toxicology. Working to help on an international level is very appealing to me. I could certainly do labwork somewhere to help, but what I am really good at is reading research publications, compiling all that information, and relaying it in layman's terms so anyone can understand it.
With the WHO, or with public health in general, are there jobs relating to that? Like public education or something, to inform others about research without actually being involved in conducting that research?

Thank you Greg for your insights! This is wonderful. I am on a path to pursue public health myself and got acceptance from both Yale’s AP program and Johns Hopkins’ MPH and unsure which to pursue. What would your recommendation be?

Your content is really informative! I am interested in getting a masters in either public health or global heath and have a keen interest in sexual and gender based violence. What are the possible job opportunities/organizations/roles available in that field, if any? Thank you.

The video is quite self explanatory. Do you think learning disability is of public health importance? Thanks
