With these prices i think we Finns will start to come over to Estonia to buy more than just alcohol.
ОтветитьOnly cooking videos being recommended still :(
Ответитьhaven't seen these since i was 12-14. (i'm 19)
ОтветитьWhere did u get that knife from? It looks cool.
ОтветитьRimi is one of the most expensive shops in Latvia
ОтветитьBUYING dumplings?? What heresy is this?
Ответитьi'm crying at how little inflation there is compared to the US in a similar time period it would be double to tripppe
ОтветитьAs many Eastern European, i went to work in the UK for 1 year...... I was paying 500 pounds/month for a flat without heating (sleeping with my jacket) and a non-working stove (basically a cave with door)...
I had a long period i survived on noodles (~0.10-0.20p per noodle) and frozen pizza (1pound)... Not to say, i will never return to the UK :)))
Screw that, boris, start making coding/programming videos.
ОтветитьThe survival videos are what brought me here and I am glad to see another one!
ОтветитьCame here in 2016 for the laughs, came back in 2025 for necessity.
ОтветитьHow is food so cheap in Europe?
ОтветитьInstant coffee is tasteless, I drink Borbone blu which is like 15€ a kg (it was way cheaper literally months ago).
ОтветитьPeach yoghurt
It's not yoghurt
And there's no peaches
I live in Florida,US. Currently, 5lb bags of potatoes are around $3.50!
I’m watching your videos for inspiration and got excited when I saw you recommended sausage because 9oz of uncooked Mexican chorizo is $1.46 (pre-seasoned, very spicy/fatty/flavorful!)
A bunch of green onion is $.96
A single cucumber is $.64
6 pack of ramen is $1.25
12 eggs is $2.72
I think I can make adjustments to your recommendations based on availability and actually pull this off, especially if my budget is $15.
i watched the original when i was abt 13.
now im 18 and im actively eating like this
time flies huh?
I found your channel with the first version of this video. Im happy to see you're still going. It's been a wild time since Covid. Best of luck and health to you.
Ответитьthese prices sound so off to me. where i live this would be definitely more than 50€
ОтветитьI'll be making those "windows" for my own enjoyment sometime soon... You should make a video on more of these small snacks!
ОтветитьIts funny that sasuage is a hungarian food amd its one of the most expensive foods in hungary.
ОтветитьThank you algorithm
ОтветитьThere's something so special about making cheap food on a budget taste good
Ответить😎
ОтветитьI actually remember something Boris what happened to that one budget video of your cousin doing budget food for you?
ОтветитьAs an actual student I can say if you care about your health and want to have an adequate amount of protien in your diet I do the following:
Eggs
Oatmeal
Flour(for omelets)
Coffee
Tea
Milk or Cream(For tea and coffee)
Butter(Expensive put vegetable oil horrible for you)
Salt with zinc you can buy a lot and just forget about
Spice of your choice(I but powdered garlic powder)
Tomato Sauce
Liver(as a side to the omelet once in while). Surprisingly cheap some places
Cooked oatmeal with butter for breakfast(one cup in 550-650ml cold water on high heat with 1/4 tbps of salt boiled in water until it gets a more solid consistency
Mighty omelet with tomato sauce for Dinner(5-6 eggs, 1/3 to 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 tbps salt, garlic spice or spice of choice cooked in butter on an iron pan). cook up some liver on the side for those extra nutrients.
When you feel like having a snack just have coffee or tea with milk or cream.
Obviously cost of living is different but if I tried to buy the weekly items from version 3 it would be like 40$ lol
Ответитьmldc bro very nice invest in big brain to get big paycheck and buy big supply of pelmeni
ОтветитьBoris my boy, you persist!
ОтветитьBoris, thanks to you, I'Il be able to feed myself this month. Thanks you so much bro ❤
ОтветитьHoly Shit, good luck going back to school, Boris! Thanks for these recipes, you always bring smiles and infotainment when times are hard! Bless you!
Ответитьin Cyprus that would be 3x the price
ОтветитьCry's from Canada...I wish I could buy 10 eggs for $4..and cheese for $2...what sorcery is this! Yeah I know my country is a joke...and not even a funny one.
ОтветитьYou could live on 50 euros a week if you lived in Istanbul and didn’t particularly like cats… 😂
ОтветитьI remember watching these in 6th grade. I'm in college now and can actually use them! Thanks for the life-long guidance Boris!
ОтветитьI love these survival videos. Thank you for feeding us with your knowledge Boris.
ОтветитьJust the pasta meal would be about $40 a month where I am......welp glad I'm not going to uni!
ОтветитьThis was very entertaining (cries in New Zealand)
ОтветитьThis was the encouagement i needed to not quit my job
ОтветитьIt's crazy that despite surviving on basically nothing, doing the same in America would cost you twice as much - for worse quality food.
Ответитьi love your attitude of this is barely any calories, but it's only a few years of school so it's nothing, you'll be fine XD
ОтветитьEvery video is a smile from my heart - keep going Boring! Conquer your classes!
ОтветитьBoris, how is Estonia? As an American, I have always wanted to visit there (usually to raised brows from my friends when I say it to them.) and some more info from my favorite Slav would he sick
ОтветитьIt's not that I don't trust Boris, but I had to do the math.
Calories for 12.5 euros comes out to about 2200 per day if you eat everything including the whole jar of mayo, which is enough to live on (although probably with a small deficit if you're male). You'll be eating a pretty high fat diet but you shouldn't be malnourished with the variety of fruits and vegetables, so unless you're 60 with a bad heart you'll be fine.
that sort of bread pudding thing looked legitimately good even on an American budget.
ОтветитьMeanwhile, in America... They're testing our patience
Ответитьi watched the original video when i was in middle school and now im in college so i needed this. thanks
Ответить
