You shouldn't be using a impact on machine screws anyway your gonna over toque the screw anyway taking it apart and trashing it, you know I'm not really sure what this is for

Ha! You totally missed the point: long as you have the insulator between you and the extention, you're protected. It's just a longer bit, is all.

Useless tool..!! If you're an electrician ,u need to use it in tight spaces..like insul screwdriver ,but this is too Bulky.Pointless insulation aded , don't waste your money...✌🏼

I have the 3/8" socket isolator from Cresent and use it all the time on residential live circuits. No issues at all. Be safe though.

Use it with a torque wrench not an impact driver to be on the safe side
