Funny how the oldest operating rollercoaster at the park is right next to the oldest ever operating ride in the park as well

when u go through that tunnel its really intense for like no reason at all.

The wood everywhere and the sound effects make it look so traditional.

Defo runs a lot slower than it used to since the incident they had on it a few years back. The train separated in the tunnel, but they said it was down to stress on the last bend into the tunnel. The ride now runs about 25% slower than it did.

I'm off to Chessington on 29th June. I have autism and am very scared of rides and I'm looking for a theme park enthusiast to help me overcome my fears and come on with me.

It hits quite hard on that turn going into the tunnel for what is a family coaster. I see they have trimmed the trees right back on the helixs. Back 20 years ago we used to see how many leaves we could grab off the tree branches on the part of the ride. Its quite a good little ride and well themed but i feel it could have been longer since its a powered coaster and does not rely on height. Rather than turn back into the station after the tunnel it could have crossed the rapids and into the woods near where the flume used to run before heading back to the station.

If you go when it's quiet they can send it round a few more times. I've been round 4 times in one go before on it.

In a good way. You’d think the slow corners would make it more peaceful, but you constantly feel like you’re about to fall out!

Guys I’m not even kidding I hate roller coasters and thought this would be a good start. The POVs are nothing like the actual coaster 😅. I was crapping myself on this one.

I somehow have a soft spot for custom powered coasters, it's not like for standard zamperla powered coasters like speedi 64 (only zpc that i know), this is a custom layout by mack with some theming and the interaction with the park's river rapids, very well done ride of a kiddie/family coaster 👍
