Those were NOT Martin films yall listed. If he was not the MAIN CHARACTER or the MAIN CO-STAR of the film, such as with "Life", then it's not a Martin film. Boomerang, House Party, are not a "Martin film" as much as HP was a John Witherspoon film or Boomerang was a Chris Rock film. JMO. Yes, he's part of the main cast..but to me whose 1st on the call sheet? If you are not 1st on the call sheet, or even 2, then you are not the star of the film. Martin films include, Blue Streak, A Thin Line, National Security, Open Season, Big Mama's House, Bad Boys, What's the worst that can happen, Life, Black Knight, Nothing To Loose, WH Roscoe Jenkins, Rebound,, College Road Trip..you can argue Death At A Funeral & Wild Hogs, but Boomerang he wasn't even on the cover promotion for the film, Eddie was and then in another cover it was Eddie with Halle Berry & Robin Givens - not Martin. Do The Right Thing, not the lead/main, it was Spike Lee. House Party is a Kid'N'Play film, Martin is just a co-star, just as prominent as Tisha and AJ, or Robin Harris was. If the film can be called a film by any of the other characters' that's in it, then it's not "their film" if they aren't the leading role...Just my opinion.
