Very cool, Ralph! Great demo, but now I want to hear them all plugged in, too. Next video??
ОтветитьRalph you are the man.
ОтветитьThis is the guitar on the front of room for squares right?
ОтветитьYeah, I'm pretty sure that's a Novax. I've seen John play an 8 string Novax few times
ОтветитьSir, one day I will buy one of your guitars. You hear that Universe? Start aligning some stars for me please
That's a unique design. They are nice looking guitars, that's for sure. I wonder what the price is... wait, I probably DON'T want to know...
Ответитьthanks Ralph- I love my early (expression fanned fret 6 string) The guitar's been an inspiring voice of hi-fidelity sonic passion
ОтветитьLet's plug those babies into something.
ОтветитьA living legend. Such great guitars! Love my Annie!
ОтветитьJust talked to Ralph on the phone...what a guy.
ОтветитьRalph is awsome. I took my damaged les paul artisan to him 15 years ago and he and his employee (glen?) not only repaired it but made it a one of a kind axe of the gods..57 reissues , 6 position rotary selector switch, straighted neck, replaced pearl inlay, new jumbo frets all for $350!.a true a master luthier and all great person. Thank you ralph
Ответитьgreat guitars, absolutey fabulous.
ОтветитьThanks to Ralph for contributing such an amazing innovation to the music world. I own a wonderful Wes Lambe instrument with fanned frets and it is a joy to play. I can't thank you enough, sir!
ОтветитьMcKenzie River Music has several Novax.
And they have many dozens of vintage amps to test.
Ralph Novak is among the greatest jazz musicians, and among the most humble.
Eugene Oregon is a better place with him around!
Just ordered a Novax baritone guitar a few days ago. Literally cannot wait until it arrives. I'm 30 years old now, and since middle school Staind and Korn have been my favorite rock bands. The Staind guitarist is one of if not my biggest guitar idol. Luckily I have his signature Ibanez MMM1, his signature PRS and now I'll have a novax. Mike Mushok played a Novax baritone guitar in the early years of Staind. Not sure why he didn't stick with the guitar, but hopefully one day he'll answer that question. I'd also like to know why he left Ibanez too. His guitar tone from their first 3 albums (Dysfunction, Break the Cycle and 14 Shades of Grey) was probably my favorite of all time.
Anyhow, the fact that I was even able to come across a Novax baritone guitar online blew my mind. Then to realize how long it'd been sitting online, and that it was in basically brand new condition, I had to pull the plug. It was very expensive, and probably the most $ I'll ever spend on a guitar in my life, so I hope its worth it. I've read about them and they do seem to be top notch quality.
Coincidentally, the maker of these guitars, Ralph Novax, actually works at the store (on Saturdays only I believe) where I bought this guitar...Mckenzie River Music. They are also apparently the official seller of Novax guitars. Knowing all of that definitely made me comfortable going forward with the purchase.
