Ford Fiesta ST review | There is no better new hot hatch for the money!

Personally I prefer a Megane R26 for a quarter of the money. Fiestas are great cars though.

These can be very economical indeed for a 200Hp petrol engine. Did a 700 km road trip in mine in a bad weather which forced me to drive very gently and averaged a calculated 5,64L/100km. Trip computer said 5,3L/100km. But rarely do you drive these things gently :D. I still do sometimes wonder if I picked the right color for my car since I bought a black one instead of that Silver Fox one.

I have a 2014 ST USA I got it when they first came out, it has 86,000+ miles on it and I’m on my 5th set of tires, that how hard I drive it, it a Cobb stage two tune, short shift kit, beefier motor mounts and many Visual modifications, I would have bought the new one but Ford pulled the plug on all car sales in the US with the exception of the Mustang. I’m 72 years young and have had many Cars & Motorcycles in my life, and by far this the most fun I’ve ever had driving, it’s a keeper, this will be my last Car. The Fiesta Flash 🤙🏼🍺🍺

Id really love to have one of these in the US. The CEO of Ford just tweeted that he wants the Puma ST to make it stateside but I hope the Fiesta ST will return. I think they'd be successful in bringing it over if they just gave us the ST models. That's what Volkswagen is doing. They're only giving us the GTI and the Golf R.

I spect one in ireland and price reached 37k euros.. amazing car but seriously that price though

Nice review! I took my ST2 out with my boy yesterday for some back road fun up here in Scotland! It was his first ride out in it and he thought it was EPIC. I’ve owned several hot hatches in past and this one trumps them all for handling and fun !👊

don't like it to plan looking not sporty at all the mk6 is the best looking one now that's sporty. the front end of this new model is focus it's sh*t that's just my opinion on it'. it's just not my cup of tea, the color is nice 👍

Why isn’t AEB (autonomous emergency braking) available on the Fiesta ST, even as an option, like it is on the normal Fiesta?

My car has engine performance level high launch control does that mean it has the performance pack. Unsure about the amber ST light that came up next to the 1k rev as of yet thanks people

I like these but two things put me off. The fake engine sound in the car (which sounds more I6 than I3 engine) and the big one... The Oil pump on all but the earliest version of the 1.5 3 cylinder is driven by a belt in oil, which is a disaster waiting to happen as the car gets older. Ford went to the effort of fitting a proper chain for the timing gear unlike on the 1.0 Ecoboost but then they let themselves down with that silly bit of engineering. The timing chain has to be removed to replace it...
