I got a booming laugh from that "this is the worst thing to happen to me, and my dad is dead" joke. And i say that as someone who's dad is dead.

Project Ako is great but I always had a soft spot for Plot of the Daitokuji Financial Group. Something about it just hits all the anime I was watching at the time they were spoofing it.

I'm just surprised that there is a a $80 Blu-ray release of this on sale right now. Why? When Blend S and Gabriel Drop Out have never (as far as I know) had physical releases to this day.

I legitimately could not watch rent a girlfriend past season 1. The main character is such a giant twat that it makes my head spin. He might be worse than a generic isekai protagonist. It was pissing me off and I was not being entertained at all, which is crazy, because I actually love shit anime as a guilty pleasure. Rent a girlfriend is just really, really bad.

I know 7 deadly went… places but it isn’t even the worst on Netflix - I mean 7 seed and Yasuke EXIST. And writing this has made me wonder… does Chez Garbage have a special menu for Netflix trash? 👀

There's definitely something wrong with me. I get way more excited to watch the worst anime than the best anime. I'm going to get stones, watch handshakers, and laugh my head off.

All the click baiters and trolls will try to make you believe that JJK and One Piece is over animated. Just tell them they know nothing, and point them to this anime.

I've been subscribed for...I don't know how long, many, many years now, but I think it's time I moved on. your content is just too puerile. it's hilarious you break out the torches for something like Citrus but claim "you don't respect ART" if someone thinks gushing over magical girls is for people who aren't allowed within 500 feet of a school. thanks, geoff, for the good times for a while, but it's time to continue past this stepping stone.

Oh God -- I mean, El Cantare -- I saw adverts for Dragon Heart while I was in Japan earlier this month. Ryuho Okawa (pen name) really still has this much pull as an "executive producer", even in death!?

The way you talk about the protagonist of 10. makes me think of that thing someone once said about the MC of Familiar of Zero: "A lot of that was probably because her summon in the original series was one of those protagonists that was all flaws so they could relate to the viewer."
Which is such an accurate statement for way too many protagonists of Japanese media.

I have watched bad anime but never have I gone as far down the rabbit hole as you. Bravo, and may there be many years more of terrible show roasts.

This is luckily only the second time I've heard about Gibiate.
The first time was when Josh Strife Hayes said that playing Alchemica Story was worse that watching Gibiate.

I will say there's one good thing to come out of Seven Deadly Sins - Seven Deadly Schmucks!
The series that gave us Meliodas as a leprechaun - NOT A LEPRECHAUN - Elizabeth's "melodious" voice, Ban's singing and Twinkie obsession, and Gilthunder as Zapp Brannigan.

Berserk 2016 made it out the list 😊

7ds is overhated

Ex-Arm could almost be forgiven if you look at it with a perspective of everything being the pre-vis only halfway through the production pipeline before corporate canceled it so they made do with what they had done rushed to put it together to release anything at all.
