I got to be the only dude fishing 25 pound braid in fresh water. I even stepped it down a few pounds.

my reactions have become the same, just "carry on" after losing a monster. I have lost so many in my time, it wasn't for my son, friends, and technology, my tales would only become "Big Fish" type tales.

1st cast.....wtf? Pisses me off lol! I have a large tackle box full of lures,trout magnets in 30 different colors,power bait enough to make a rainbow,shrimp eggs, and 3 different poles with spinner reels 2 out sitting there and 1 for cast and retrieve.

I can literally have trout swimming along the damn bank close enough to grab by hand (literally happened yesterday twice) and still can't catch a fish if it jumped on bank and tail smacked me in the face and you go out there and have one on your line in 10 seconds or less!!! I mean good job,I ain't trying to hate on you but like damn dude! I just don't get it.

I try watching videos, try moving to different spots, different lures,different retrieve methods,lines,you name it!

I couldn't get a fish if I bought it from the store and put a hook in its mouth and threw it in the water! My line or pole would break,hook would come out or something! Doesn't even matter what time of day it is! I've tried everything I can think of and still couldn't catch a fish if you took me to sure catch fish farm. Fish would be like nope fuck you buddy you ain't catching shit!!🤬😡🤬

I would've thrown a fit if I lost that fish!!!

i got my rainbow trout in small river with just simple rood and just small piece of bread on it. I got 1.3kg trout and it was only fist for me on that day.

On the 2nd set up does the bobber and split shot weight always go down to your jig hook when reeling it in? That has been happening to me. Not sure if i did not set up correctly? Thanks! Hoping to catch my first trout lol. Keep it up!

Or you can get yourself a 7 ft ultralight spinning rod with a 1000 series reel spooled up with 4lb mono and tie on a grasshopper colerd Berkeley powerbait atomic tube and keep it sexy and slay the trout!

You had a tank on and lost it and stayed a lot calmer than I would have been I would have probably been kicking rocks and throwing rocks at that fish and doing my best with my language

I’d still be dropping F bombs 2 days later!!
