Hold your breath guys F-22 Raptor vs Typhoon Eurofighter takeoff and some flying display highlights

That first plane taking off all I heard in my head was, Go Go Gadget Go!

the thing is, aerodynamically and from a maneuverability point of view, the Eurofighter Typhoon is just straight up better than the F-22. Designing the aircraft for maximum stealth takes a considerable toll on certain characteristics, they just do. The F-22 can make up for this with 100% more thrust dry and 70% more thrust in Afterburner, as well as the vertical thrust vectoring nozzles. Both are nice aircraft though, and both are capable to fulfill their roles.

Put them 300 miles apart heading toward each other and hit the start button, the eurofighter would last about 10 seconds before it's game over

You just can't appreciate these fantastic fighter jets on video ' you really have to be there to get the experience.the spectical/sound/ the ground shaken beneath your feat 'being up close and personal and actually being able to appreciate how fast they are really going and those incredible turn radius and the very impressive vertical climb ,YEP to fully understand how impressive they are, you have to at least once see them in real life

The Typhoon is a great fighter jet, but the F22 remains the one to beat. I'm anxious to see the 6th gen.

I mean.... sure, there's all the secret aircraft that make these two planes both look like relics, but we can pretend, right?

They're both such gorgeous aircraft. The eurofighter makes me think of a sleek sportscar from days past like the testarossa, and the raptor is like a blend of modern muscle car with the aesthetics of a niche supercar.

No knock against the Typhoon but watching the F22 effortlessly climb straight up and drop back to earth then conduct tight turns is spectacular to watch. It up just seemed to have more unbridled power than the Typhoon. 🐱

It's nuts they get up to speed and go near vertical. Never gets old for me. Apparently very dangerous manoeuvre unless your highly trained pilot and have a suitable plane.

F22 hands down the better of the two.. both respectable but, the F22 simply out turns and turns quicker

I like both planes very much for different reasons. But wouldn’t it be nice if Britain could purchase some F-22. Sadly the U.S. will never export the Raptor I know why……

I saw a eurofighter in the united states and told the pilots they looked like the should be in stars wars and one pilot said back to me that may be so but performance to your fighter jets ate day and night.

The raptor, straight up like a rocket 🚀. The F22 just looks like it is made entirely out of block of titanium. Just so otherworldly.

The F-22 has almost double the amount of thrust. Far superior avionics, and far superior pilot training

The F-22 is vastly superior. The Typhoon was an over-budget cold war jet that was no longer really needed once it finally entered service, and was already surpassed in capabilities by other aircraft entering service around the same time like the F-22. We're now scrambling to produce the next-gen air superiority fighter to catch up with what the Russians and Chinese are doing, never mind the Yanks. We need to be looking at a bomber too. Our military spending is pathetic. It really needs to be doubled. Sunak and Hunt don't have a clue.

These are two very different aircraft. As has already been mentioned here. Eurofighter versus F22 would be very unfair for the F22. But the Eurofighter can't carry weapons like the F22.
It's a comparison like a sports car vs a pickup truck. The pickup can also have more power, but will lose on the highway. Likewise, the sports car can have more power, but it will lose off-road.... Each is one of the best vehicles in its special case (aircraft).

Both awesome. Typhoon being 4th and some consider 4.5th generation stands luttle to no chance against stalealthy 5th gen fighter. Sorry.
