This is a perfect example of why the new CBS/Paramount Trek fan film guidelines are the pits! Would love to see more from this group, but it'd have to change a lot to meet the new rules. Oh well! Best wishes on a new "enterprise", maybe one that doesn't use the obvious Trek elements that would outlaw it in the future. Or, maybe in an alternate universe CBS/Paramount will wake up and realize that supporting fan films keeps fans ready to support more studio movies/shows and might make them more money than stopping good fan films does. Kudos to Federation Files!

I am a big Star Trek fan & that was an amazing video

For a first episode I'll say I'm interested enough to watch another featuring Constitution.... fingers crossed there will be much needed improvement!
The vulcan science officer looks waaaaay too young to be of commander rank that was too easily noticeable too forgive. Why not lieutenant in rank?
Overall this had good moments but a tighter script, leaving out some unnecessary dialogue and scene cuts, would've raised this from bearable to good.... the Captain showing off whatever service decoration he earned in the beginning was especially cringeworthy! Those incredible sets cannot polish a turd but as a first effort I'm counting on the ability of all involved to put out a more smoothly flowing story next try. IF the cbs guidelines allow for another appearance of this crew.
One of the things I enjoyed most when watching fan productions is recognizing the improvement with experience as each new "episode" was released.... but continuity is, sadly, one of the elements cbs has crushed in guidelines.
Hoping maybe they'll lighten up a bit and revise the guide. It could only help cbs to be a bit more forgiving.... don't think they anticipated how much damage alienating a large segment of Trek fans was going to do towards their streaming subscriptions!

Kinda fun keeping the explorer Spirit or trekking star trek nature alive. Better than those more well produced fan films that are just like space soap operas.
