I loved using the Tiger 1 in COH2. A great tank to hold defensive lines with Hunker Down with the extra sandbags for protection. That tank is a monster and can hold its own for long periods of time before I had to retreat it back for repairs

Despite its mechanical issues, you totally get why it struck "tiger phobia" into the Allied forces...

I had the honor of meeting Tiger ace Otto Carius about 2 weeks before his death. Even tough not in the best of shape anymore, he was VERY kind and we drank coffee together. He also gave me a free and signed copy of his book = Tigers imm schlamm (Tigers in the mud, a recommended read).

I believe that tiger 1 was also one of the first vehicles ever mass-produced that had power steering...it had a steering wheel and could be steered one handed with almost no effort, while most other tanks of the time were controlled and steered by a set of levers each one of which slowed or stopped the track on one side
