This was wonderful. Those tapestry wools are such beautiful colors. I need to research sashiko threads as I’ve never heard of them.

It's very nicely done. The craft organization and the video. I like doing more than one type of craft too. Sewing quilts, bags and household decorations. I love Sashiko (the easier patterns). Slow stitch items and boro.
Have you tried sewing a Japanese Rice Bag yet? I think you will like it Boro style. Thank you.

I’ve really enjoyed your calming and inspiring videos. You’ve motivated me to be a little more intentional about what I work on rather than bouncing from project to project. I often underestimate how long it will take me to do something and struggle to stay focused on one thing through to completion before the next shiny object catches my eye, ha! I enjoy seeing how had everything. I’m in process of moving my craft room. I had surgery so everything got put on hold. Didn’t plan on a time out while do that.😊

You have such intentional storage - it is so beautiful and functional. My own has grown piecemeal and halter-skelter, so this gives me inspiration to redo what I can, as I also have a small home with limited personal space.

I love everything about your room. I feel like I could focus in that spot.

I lost my sewing house to a fire a could of months ago. I'm rebuilding and am currently purchasing things that I lost. It's hard. I would love to capture the feeling of the room and make good use of space for all my crafts. The organization is not my strong suit. So you prefer beautiful containers over see-through bins or plastic boxes? I love the wooden and fabric and re-purposed things that you use, but if I can't see something, I forget I own it.

What do you use the felt sheets for?

Recently I was in Japan and stumbled across a small fabric shop in Nagoya.
It was so hard not to pick a few whilst being there 😂

And guess what… I choose the some of the same fabrics that you currently have and I’m excited to use them 😁

Also, I am new to sewing crafts and I had got a Hana-Fukin Sashiko Sampler fabric kit. Do I need to use sashiko tread for this project or can I use another thread?
