NARROWBOAT life on the River Thames | Episode 11

We are Lindsay and Paul, we sold our house in London to live on a Narrowboat. We decided to share our experiences and adventures becoming continuous cruisers on the UK canal system with our narrowboat INGA and our two doggies Buddy and Nelly.

So this week we have been staying in Hurley as we couldn’t get moored at Marlow but we found a lovely mooring near a field with lots of sheep

We decided to have a bit of down time in Windsor and we became tourists for a week meeting up with some amazing family and friends. We really needed those couple of days with Peter and his amazing family as he is the most beautiful person and catching up with Steve and B was messy as usual 🤣🤣
But again much needed
Love you all and so glad you came to see us 🥰


And we was right in the middle of marlow and Henley so would be perfect for dog walks and bike rides

But first we went into Hurley to see the local pub scene 🍻🍹

Hurley was the location for midsummer murders with the village and church as main locations and We went to the Old Bell pub which was also a location for midsummer murders.

There was also a lovely pub which serves authentic Asian food cooked by the family who ran the pub
It was absolutely delicious 😋

We ventured to Henley in Thames on our bikes and blimey that was a challenging ride as it was through fields of sheep and all up hill 😅
But we made it!! There were some fantastic houses that we passed on the Thames path. Oh to live my the river !!

Lindsay cooked a roast dinner amd we decided to let you all join us in the making of it 😋
Who doesn’t love a roast dinner!

Then let’s not forget mincegate…. Who left the mince out of the freezer to defrost by mistake …. Stay tuned to find out the crazy culprit 🤣🤣
A day without banter is a day wasted 😆😆
