If we have encountered God his Holy Spirit will convict us closer to him. You cant spend time with the Holy God and not become more and more Holy yourself hes too powerful. It wont happen over night and if you stumble repent and get back up rightous man/woman of God and have no condemnation, but keep the Fear of the Lord where wisdom abounds. Pray for his joy and strength. Without Jesus we can do nothing.

The marriage part actually remains. It’s also the reason why Matthew 22:32 exists. Why would He mention His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in this context right after talking about marriage? Do you think He’d throw that out there just for fun? No, He mentioned it because He formed a covenant with them that He Himself promised to uphold (see Genesis 15) forever…no matter what. Like the covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob - a marriage between believers is upheld and eternally sustained the same way.

In Layman’s terms, He told the men questioning Him: “She would be married to the man I joined her with and had planned for her to marry as part of the covenant I established between the two”.

Not the covenant she entered out of free will, the covenant God created. So whichever one of the men God ordained, she’d be married to him.
