STRIDER II (MEGADRIVE - FULL GAME)

Not as good as the first one, but not terrible like so many people say it is.

Zeus, I think you forgot to mention that you've used invincibility. I saw many projectiles hit you.

Capcom decided to ignore the existence of this one and make another Strider 2.
By Tiertex standards this isn't too bad though

You should be kidding me, this game is a joke and I don't care if it's the best Tiertex makes(which really is not, the best they did actually is port Flashback for consoles, I give them that it's the only good thing they made) and a sorry excuse to cash in on the franchise.
I can't really commend you by playing the game with invincibility, but I love your other vids tho.

Its not a terrible game I suppose but its not a design classic like the first one.

The original Strider is for so many reasons one of the most important action-platformer of all times. This is a mediocre iteration with the reuse of some original assets and some overused mechanics (not so well implemented I'd say). Not so bad but bad enough.

This was the first game I owned!! Awesomeness

The gameplay on this is so hard. One false move and Hiryu goes tumbling in the wrong direction. If he gets hit he rolls along like a bowling ball. His jumps are so difficult to control with his stupid cartwheel.

Really boring but I guess it's still playable.

I bought the Master System port as a kid and the only reason I bought the game instead of Strider 1 was because this one was way cheaper in price. I remembered how stunned I was I completed the game so quickly. I finished the game so many times hopen to find extra stuff, but no. But I liked the mechanics and that you go very high in the levels. It had so many potential but it was cut short. It was like a game demo instead of a full game. Later on I played strider 1 for the Master System, Genesis and PS1. I likes all version of part 1 and each of them are so much better than part 2 of the genesis and Master System version. Strider 2 for the PS1 is a totally a different game and 1000000 times better. But I see the master system and genesis version of part 2 as a add-on or mission pack rather than a full game and so I can enjoy it.

I still have that console, Mega Drive 2 and this game..! Such memories! And this music .. Damn so awesome!

Platinum shud make a new strider games.

Yes people i like this game too its decent i play it from time to time of course the first game is much better. What is actually better in this game is that you can adjust your jump which wasnt possible in the first game (which was irritating at times)

I love this game.

This sequel is perfectly okay if I'm going to be honest after playing it myself, it runs smooth, the audio is actually pretty solid if basic (title theme is great though) and another thing people should actually praise this game is that Tiertex ACTUALLY put effort in trying to change this game for the better since this game was originally a different title on the Amiga
