It's good to hear Cooper admit it all he did was reheat old Buchanan arguments that know to be wrong even then. On the other hand he has a talent to talk for a long time and not say much.

Churchill was so belligerent because he reckoned he could get us into the war. He had helped to do it in WWI and as prime minister he was confident he could do it again.

No matter how bad the outcome of WWII they can always say: "Yeah, but what about the Holocaust?" This should invite a critical examination of the......well you know.

Cooper, like Buchanan, is a classic example of someone who "works their way backward" in their historical analysis. He began with the belief that many of the US' overseas entanglements are unnecessary (of which he'd be right), noticed how WWII is often used to justify them, and then proceeded to craft a revisionist narrative concluding that WWII itself was unnecessary. This is not how you approach history.

Downplaying Hitler's responsibility for the atrocities of WWII because you oppose Western/American military interventionism is akin to downplaying rape as a crime because you disagree with the excesses of the MeToo movement. It just makes you sound like an absolute muppet.

I have a somewhat revisionist view of WW2 but this guy is waaaaaay of the res. He's a case of an amateur drawing the wrong conclusions. This is not the guy to defend. Carlson is a nut case as well.

History is the study of what happened and why, NOT evaluating historical players and rewriting history and playing what if alternative histories. That is NOT history. Has he ever heard of primary sources? That's the first place you go to if you are a historian. He's just reading secondary sources - books, articles, documentaries, and so on. No historian writes using secondary sources.

Churchill was a person? I thought he was a demon.

I believe the reason why people could speak more freely on WWII in previous decades (mainly prior to the 70s) was due to the commercialization of the Holocaust. Even the word was created in order to market it. There was too much financial incentive to allow free thought and free speech on the topic.

Does anyone have any links disproving the ideas about Hattlr and the Juice that Darryl’s friend believes in?

We have to be careful here because a nation needs its myths. The left is destroying the myth of America greatness by emphasizing the negative impact of slavery, colonialism, Indian wars, and Jim Crow segregation. As they are doing that, then the right wing yet all defensive and incensed. I think it's important to defend white people if there's a conflict between them and non white people. We have to stand up for our race and for Christianity otherwise the entire western civilization will be destroyed by those who are challenging the mainstream narrative and taboos. The left has become the mainstream in many ways, though.
