Good movie. Ending had mixed emotions. Got rid of the town dictator, sad it ended with brother against brother.

this was an interesting little western......it was more like an episode of The Twilight Zone or Outer Limits than it was of a typical early western....no indians, no cattle, no ranches, no cavalry, no wagon train, no mountain trails, no buffalo, no law and order, no High Noon, no banjo music

What a good western. A little levity, some good gun play, good cast, pretty girl.

Absolute, implausible hookum mixed some of the best wooden acting. Asinine plot and terrible production.

Martha Vickers was a model and cover girl who made her first film appearance at age 18. She was once married to Mickey Rooney. She was just 46 when she died. Paul Richards played Hoag. He had a mysterious sophisticated personality in many of his roles in dozens of films and TV series.

I thought this movie had a poor script and some poor acting. At the end, he says he is going to Tombstone. In 1873, there was no Tombstone.
